[Saoirse] Distinguished Service Competition

To all members of Saoirse,

As many of you know I have not been very active in the last few days due to real life obligations, and I expect this continue for another several weeks. In my absence, I expect all party members – but most especially elected members of the Saoirse leadership (vPP, advisor and directors) – to do their part in keeping the party active, fun and responsible to the Irish people. To facilitate this important task, on Christmas day I will be awarding three lucky Saoirse members with prizes of 10 gold each for distinguished service to the party and to the country.





Specifically, awards will be given in the following categories:

Distinguished Congress Member Award
*This award goes to the most active and effective Saoirse congress member this term.
*Voted on by all fellow congress members at the end of the term (including non-Saoirse congress members in order to encourage cooperation with other parties).

Distinguished Publisher Award
*This award goes to the Saoirse member who publishes the best public service article under the Saoirse banner between Nov 25 and Dec 25. This can take the form of news briefs, tutorials, surveys, analysis or any other article that provides a valuable service to the Irish people as a whole.
*Voted on by all Irish citizens

Distinguished Leadership Award
*This award goes to the Saoirse member who does the most for party growth and cohesion including recruitment efforts, new citizen support, promoting IRC activity, promoting responsible behavior, and/or a variety of other things.
*Voted on by all Saoirse members.

Note: The only stipulation to receive any of these awards is that you have to have been a Saoirse member at the time the activities that merited the award took place.

One last thing: If necessary I have just enough gold saved up to pay for these awards myself but I also welcome donations (no matter how small) to help cover the cost.
