[Presidents office] Germark War

Day 2,310, 17:25 Published in Norway Norway by Jasper Zuidema

Hello Norway

I'm giving you guys an update on the war against Germark and what's been going on there, Asgard has been very busy the past couple days, with Sweden and Norway at war with Germany/Denmark and Finland now holding down the fort in UK's cores while swapping regions with Russia. Lots of battles to pick from!

1) Norway declared an NE on Denmark and advanced into Nordjylland and Midtjylland taking those regions from them easily. They likewise declared one on us but for some reason the first proposal was rejected and immediately followed by another which ended up being nullified. My guess is that the CP got on too late to accept the NE proposal. Denmark also followed with proposing a trade embargo against us and Sweden, both being accepted though I assume its not a major loss anyways.

2) Sweden has gotten bogged down with the war against Germany, it now looks like its turning into a ping pong war with Sweden easily winning resistance wars and Germany in the MPP battles. Germany advanced through Scania and Smaland to Gotaland but for now it seems the three regions keep swapping ownerships between the two.

3) Denmark started a Resistance war in Nordjylland at the same time that Norway proposed an NE on Germany. It looks like Denmark will probably win there, and then propose an NE on Norway to drain damage while our NE proposal is accepted on Germany.

4) The next step is anyone's guess. We will probably end up attacking Syddanmark and head east from there into Sjaelland if it goes well. Hopefully Sweden will gain the upper hand in the ping pong war and meet us in the south. That or Norway's attacks will be blocked off by Denmark as we seek to focus and attack Germany.

We will have to see where the attacks lead us, could take us anywhere right now. We look like where in decent shape for Congress, we have the regions that we need. I've also been busy in contact with our allies and renewing our MPP's, we will probably look towards signing a couple more in the next couple days but further discussion will need to be done with congress and government.

Best Regards,
