[PN] Interview with... ToniJR

Day 2,810, 16:16 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Pannonian Nomad

Hi everyone.

Time for a new interview, this week's victim is - ToniJR.

1. Tell us a few words about your real life self.

- I'm 42, married (for the 2nd time) and got 2 kids, a 15 yr old lad and a 1 yr old daughter. Normally fairly quiet, occasionally not so quiet!

Born and bred in God's Own County (specifically Sheffield), but also half-Spanish.

2. About eRepublik ToniJR.

- Again usually fairly quiet, I've been mainly focused on the military side of the game. Occasionally spurred into action, but rarely!

3. How do you see your future in eRepublik? (What are your ambitions?)

- I'm not sure really, I tend to take things as they come. I'd like to help Rory lead a revival in the fortunes of the Funky Militia, but otherwise I've no grand ambitions.

4. eUK's future? (Any suggestions to the current and future governments?)

- Not really. We're in a pretty tricky situation, and the Government need better advice than someone with my experience can give.

So I'll limit it to; have a plan!

5. eRepublik's future? (What would you change?)

- The actions of eRepublik suggest that they don't think the game has too much longer to go, so I guess that will be self-fulfilling.

I'd make it more interesting to the average player, rather than just catering to an elite few. Look at this current contest; prizes out of reach except to a literal handful of regiments. Once the average player has gone, the "elite" will be a short way behind them.

6. Who is your favourite person in eRepublik and why?

- There's quite a few I've a lot of time for, but it has to be Rory. The Funk has done a lot for me in my time in the game.

7. Any person you dislike and why?

- Nah, not really. There're some pantomime villains out there, but they're just after some attention

8. A few words about your military history.

- I've always been with Funky, excepting this week when the RN have been kind enough to have me. Funky taught me a lot, and supplied me well when I was starting out.

And most of all, it has always been very friendly, and apolitical.

9. A few words about your political history.

- Had a couple of spells in Congress with TUP a couple of years ago. Tbh it was mainly a disillusioning experience. One exception being when Appleby was Speaker and had Select Committees - that was a nice touch.

Now with the UKPP, but with no real aims.

10. Do you lift?

- If something is worth lifting, I'm in like Flynn.

11. Your message to the community.

- Hey.

Thank you ToniJR for your answers o7
