Its that time again and ruddy hell it's been one packed week. We've had Canada wiped, Portugal wiped, Spain chase Brazil into S. Africa and ONE decide to crack the final bastion of EDEN. China.

Most of the week has been spent watching Hungary and Serbia creep towards China. While Poland, Indonesia and Spain work to battle the occupied nations of America, Canada and Brazil.

Finally though, just as I was contemplating closing eRep to pursue more important matters (like fapping) fortress EDEN and the powerhouse ONE clashed. First in Kyushu and later in Eastern Siberia. Time for the fun to begin.

Serbian advance through Russia

From the very start of the week things didn't look good for Russia as Serbia NE'd them on Day 1,320. On Day 1,321 Serbia attacked and conquered Moscow and Central Russia. At this point it was pretty clear that the ONE objective had shifted from the recently wiped USA to China.

On Day 1,322 Russia launched a RW against Lithuanian-occupied Leningrad Oblast which was suppressed. Serbia in the meantime moved onto Volga Vyatka and then the Urals, which last week the Lithuanian's had returned to Russian control in preparation.

This left Serbia only 2 regions from the ultimate goal of China. On Day 1,323 the Serbian advance temporarily stalled as Lithuania attacked Western Siberia, blocking Serbia from doing the same. With Western Siberia the only link to eastern Russia and China beyond it needed to remain in Russian control or Serbia would be unable to attack and, without borders, its war would be closed. Lithuanian and ONE forces fought for Russia and made sure Russia won, enabling the Serbian advance to continue.

Continue they did, as on Day 1,324 Serbia occupied Western Siberia. The following day Eastern Siberia also fell to Serbia. Then on Day 1,326 Far Eastern Russia was also occupied by the Serbians.

The week wasn't entirely bad for Russia, who did manage to RW Northern Russia from Lithuania and Western Siberia and the Urals from Serbia.

Currently, Serbia has re-attacked the Urals after successfully defending Eastern Siberia from a Chinese offensive.

RW's were started in Cork, Wexford and Shannon throughout the week

Early in the week the UK successfully managed to suppress Irish RW's in Wexford and later Cork. On Day 1,322 they then preceded to NE Denmark who at the time were down to a single region, Midtjylland (Eng Trans. Miget-land). Migetland was later joined by Syddanmark, which was also RW'd out of Swedish occupation.

On Day 1,323 the UK attacked and captured Migetland. Economically the region offered little, but it did enable the UK to prolong its NE bonus. Sweden had previously occupied the territories in a union with Denmark and so on Day 1,325 the UK RW'd the region back into Danish hands. Another Irish RW was launched in Shannon, but it was suppressed.

Hungary finally linked is substantial empire to its capital

Germany saw itself return to the map, if only temporarily. On Day 1,320 Hungary swallowed up Bavaria, finally linking up its European and N. American colonies. Germany did see success in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg and Saxony-Anhalt which were both liberated from Sweden. However, their luck didn't last long as, on Day 1,322, Hungary captured Hesse and Sweden NE'd them. Sweden then retook Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg and Saxony-Anhalt.

Persistence pays?

On Day 1,320 Greece saw is final region Crete fall (once again) to Macedonian forces. The following day an ambitious RW was launched in Central Greece which ultimately failed. Did that deter the Greeks? Well, a total of 7 RW's were started in Central Greece. All of which were successfully suppressed, although some were closely contested.

Currently Greece have started yet another RW in Macedonian-occupied Central Greece.

Saying Portugal had a rough week would be an understatement. Mexico has managed to beat Portugal down to a single region, even wiping them on Day 1,324 after the fall of Centro.

Like many of the wars going on at the moment, RW's have been relatively successful against Mexico. However, with its strong stack of MPPs Mexico had little trouble occupying the Portuguese mainland. With Portugal wiped and therefore the war closed they began to see success. Azores, Alenteso and Centro were all liberated from Mexico.

Currently Mexico have re-attacked Azores, and look to be winning it.

Turkey's Bulgarian offensive

The Turkish-Bulgarian conflict has been in full swing this week. Although Bulgaria haven't had much success. Turkey occupied Burgas, Varna, Plovdiv, Sofia, Ruse and on Day 1,327Vidin. Wiping Bulgaria from them map.

Hungarian advance across mainland USA

Last week ended with the USA wiped, albeit not for long, as Arizona and California were seemingly liberated shortly after. This was followed by Hawaii, which was also liberated from Indonesian control. The key word here is seemingly as, with a closer inspection of the map, you could see the US controlled territories forming a nice path to Chinese-occupied Kyusha and the mainland beyond.

As expected the US launched a steady stream of RW's throughout their occupied states. Spanish occupied Wisconsin was liberated on Day 1,321. While Poland successfully suppressed a RW in New Jersey. Over the next couple of days Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota were all liberated from Spanish control, who already had their hands full fighting Brazil in S. America.

On Day 1,323 Hungary NE'd the US and began their advance on China by conquering Arizona. This was followed by California on Day 1,324 and Hawaii on Day 1,325.

However, ONE's plan for Hungary to then move on Chinese-occupied Kyushu was foiled, if only momentarily, as a RW was started in Kyushu. This closely contested battle saw Kyushu return to Japanese control, meaning that Hungary would now have to declare war on Japan to get to China.

Canadian RWs and Polish counter-attack

This week started essentially how it ended for Canada. Poland, Indonesia and Britain continued with its division. Prince Edward Island fell to the UK at the end of last week while Poland moved on Manitoba and Indonesia on Canadian-occupied Idaho. Poland then preceded onto the Northwest Territories capturing it on Day 1,320.

The following day saw several RW's in Indonesian held British Columbia and Polish-occupied Nunavut supressed. Indonesia then moved on Saskatchewan, capturing it on Day 1,322 but losing Yukon to Canadian resistance fighters.

The following day Indonesia captured Alaska, linking themselves with Russia and China beyond while also leaving Canada with only Yukon left. Several RW's were undertaken in Polish held Ontario and Quebec and Indonesian held British Columbia, but to no avail. On Day 1,324 Yukon fell to Indonesia, joining Canada to the growing list of wiped countries.

However, similar to the US, British Columbia was liberated shortly after the wipe. Placing Canada back on the map, and now without open wars.

Currently, Poland has reoccupied Alberta after a successful RW while Indonesian occupied Saskatchewan has been liberated.

Early in the week things went rather down hill for New Zealand. Their attempt to take Zona Central from Chile was unsuccessful. Their push further into Argentina by taking Cuyo also floundered. To top it all off their only remaining S. American region Patagonia was RW'd back into Argentinian hands on Day 1,322. Putting them back at square one.

However, after the successful defence of Wellington against Chile things turned around. On Day 1,323 they retook Zona Austral from Chile meaning they were back in S. America. On Day 1,325 they preceded onto Chilean Zona Sur and successfully captured it.

Currently New Zealand have lost Zona Sur to a Chilean RW, and very much look to lose Zona Austral as well.

Spain returns to the Brazilian mainland after a short spell in S. Africa

South African-occupied Rio Grande do Sul being RW'd (or more aptly 'returned') started off the week for Brazil. For those who didn't catch last weeks NFTF South Africa was infact working to help Brazil reclaim its South African territories, and only saw success in Rio Grande do Sul because ONE forces saw fit for them to win.

On Day 1,321 Brazil finally saw success against Spain in a RW undertaken in the Northeast of Brazil. The following day Brazil began to reclaim their South African safety net by attacking and conquering the Northern Cape. A wise tactic, seeing as Spain had seemingly fully committed itself to the S. American campaign. Spain continued to push south taking Parana and Santa Caterina on Day 1,322 and retaking the North of Brazil the day after.

Peru's final Brazilian region (Southeast of Brazil) was RW'd back into Brazilian hands on Day 1,321, although Peru seemed to have switched attention to Argentina at this point.

On Day 1,323 the Center West of Brazil was liberated from Spain. At the same time Brazil moved further into South Africa, retaking the Western Cape. Unfortunately for Brazil and South Africa, Spain didn't seem eager for Brazil to jump continents and attacked and conquered the Northern Cape. Spain continued to chase Brazil through S. Africa, taking Western Cape shortly before Brazil occupied Eastern Cape.

Currently, Brazil has continued to move further into South Africa occupying Free State while Spain has moved back onto the Brazilian mainland taking Rio Grande do Sul and the Center West of Brazil.

Not much has changed for Argentina this week. Peru are still taking regions then preceding to lose them to RW's. Peru captured South East Chaco on Day 1,320, and then lost it on Day 1,322. They took Pampas on Day 1,322, and then lost it on Day 1,323. Mesopotamia was taken on Day 1,322, and was lost on Day 1,324. Finally Argentine Northwest was taken on Day 1,323 and, you guessed it, was RW'd back a day later.

One change of some importance was New Zealand's temporary boot off the S. American continent after a failed attack on Cuyo and a successful RW in Patagonia. Also, Argentina's last 2 Bolivian colonies Santa Cruz and Beni and Cochabamba were liberated by ONE forces early in the week.

This week it became pretty clear that ONE's goal had shifted from the recently wiped USA to China. With China holding maximum production on everything and many EDEN countries under siege it's fast become somewhat of an EDEN stronghold. You need only look at the Chinese top 10. Its no surprise then that EDEN is pulling out all the stops in its defence.

Kyushu, Hungary's potential gateway from N. America into Asia, was RW'd back into Japanese hands on Day 1,325. So delaying any ONE offensive from the east. China then NE'd Serbia and launched their own offensive against the Serbians pushing through Russia. The Chinese offensive against Serbian held Eastern Siberia was closely contended, with EDEN tanking an early lead. However, ONE forces prevailed and successfully defended the region, giving Serbia the initiative.

Currently Hungary have attacked Japan in Kyushu, and very much look to win.

EDIT: Serbia has launched its offensive against China, attacking Inner Mongolia.
