[NCP] Getting Back On Track

Day 1,452, 15:14 Published in USA USA by Deificus

Needless to say, it's been an interesting couple of months for the New Conservative Party, We Heart GoalieBCSC... or whatever it's being called now (though I do kinda like that one... Goalie); but I'll keep it simple and call it the NCP. This party skyrocketed into the top five, reaching the #3 position by membership at its apex... and then things got sideways. Growth has slowed tremendously while other parties, particularly the Libertarians and the Federalists, have seen a boon of new membership.

I remember when the top five used to be a two party show while all other parties were just used as filler to prevent a party like this one from getting to the big time. While I can't say I understand or agree with every moment in the short history of this party, I can say I'd like to see this party become a driving force in the eUS political system.

With that, I would take a moment to announce that I am running for party president of the New Conservative Party. My goals are simple: To take this party with its large membership and refocus it's effort on growth and being a meaningful force in guiding this country. I want to give the just-under-270 people in this party (hopefully more in the near future) an opportunity to voice their opinion on matters of national import. As party president, my goals are to be an active leader for this party, communicating regularly with the good folks here while pushing our memberbase to become more active as well... and I look forward to the people responding.

If one of our members feels like they have a good shot at running for congress and can prove not only activity and competence, but intelligence as well, then I want to be able to give them that fighting chance. This party has been stagnant for the better part of a month now; there has been no forward momentum to speak of, and that really needs to change. I'm looking forward to putting this party back on track.
