[MoD] Various Updates

Day 2,107, 10:55 Published in Japan Japan by William of Edenbury

This is a collection of various updates and explanations as to what the Ministry of Defense is doing right now.

MoD Orders:
As many of you will have noticed, the daily orders from the Ministry stopped a good while ago. Originally this was due to various constraints tied to our staff numbers and activity. Recently however the orders have not been restarted for two reasons.

Reason #1: Efficiency- It is actually a good bit more efficient to relay the orders directly to the MU commanders as citizens are far more likely to be interested in their Daily Orders than in reading a pretty dry newspaper that becomes outdated in a few hours.

Reason #2: Secrecy- The military has recently been involved in a couple of operations in which we did not want our enemies getting advanced warnings. These operations will be continuing for a while, both to do damage to our enemies and to gather data on our own operational capacity since the supply upgrades.

Deployments

Military deployments will be increasing in frequency. All soldiers are asked to move as quickly as possible when the orders come down. As our efficiency increases we will see about going from our current mass, rough movements to doing more surgical strikes.

General Report on Progress

The Military is seeing improvements across the board.

Damage
Our Military saw a roughly 30% increase in damage output during the first phase of the supply system. We are allowing the current supply system to run for a little longer before gathering numbers, but we expect that damage will be increased by another 15-25%

Supplies
Supplies are set at 4 Q7 weapons for regular soldiers and 7 Q7 weapons with 70 Q5 food for commune soldiers. This supply system has consistently remained within our budget. No further upgrades are planned at this time

Organization
Organization has already been at exceptional levels since the first programs started rolling out. The only improvement needed is an increase in the number of officers to relieve strain on the current staff.

Those are all the updates for now. Most of what will be going on in the coming weeks is data assessment as our Military starts flexing its muscle both oversees and in our own neighborhood.
