1951: Death of Fumiko Hayashi, a female Japanese novelist and poet.
1956: Joint communiqué between China and Japan on the repatriation of prisoners of war.
1971: Birth of Norika Fujiwara, a Japanese beauty queen (Miss Japan in 1992), model and actress personality.
