Change. That word change is a powerful word. So powerful, in fact, that in the 2008 Presidential elections of the real world, both the Repugs and the Donkeys used it as their slogan of their campaigns. Unfortunately, in the real world, change rarely happens.

Here in eRepublik, change is a part of our every day eLife. As a player that is about to start his seventh year in the game this year, I can say with certainty that I have seen a lot of changes. Changes in gameplay. Changes in the community. Changes in the player population. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much of a change in the small clique that has pretty much ruled the eUSA for the past five or so years.

Today, I state my intention to seek YOUR nomination to become the next Country President of the eUnited States of American. Inspired by another candidate's ideas of variety and opportunity, I think it is time to bring real change to the government. The days of passing the POTUS position back and forth like a worn out call girl needs to come to an end. Where is the variety in that? Where is the opportunity? Where is the change?

The change is in YOUR vote. I've been a quite vocal proponent of change for longer than a lot of you have been in this New World. We have, however, not really had the opportunity to vote for an alternative. Hell, the past few elections have brought so little variety that some have even written articles about how pathetic the CP elections have been. It's pretty much been a one-person run for WAY too long. It has to change.

I've been called many names in my six years in eRepublik. eRepublik's Favorite Hippie, Revolutionary, Counter-culture pinko commie freak, madman and troll. One thing that I have not been called is an elitist. Well, not by any sane person, that is.

So join with me and let's bring variety into the CP position. Let's give EVERYONE, not just the few an opportunity. Let's bring change to eAmerica. In the coming days, I will bring to you a list of people who will join with me to help bring TRUE VARIETY, TRUE OPPORTUNITY, and TRUE CHANGE to the eUSA. I will start with my Inner Circle in my next article. Stay Tuned!
