Day 3,168, 09:21 Published in Ireland South Africa by Dante Boss

Citizens of the Republic,

Without any warning, confrontation or even a single message of dialogue between our governments, Canada proposed a Natural Enemy on our sovereign nation. It passed by a single vote which shows that a rift between our neighbours population over the "Irish Issue" is still existing. To those Canadians who have a memory of our friendship - I respect you, eIreland respects you.

We did not want this war, we do not want a hostile relationship but whenever Rylde is in power and he feels nobody is watching - he emerges with his chest puffed out, and little mighty eIreland is his target.

Their invasion hit Cork which we defended with fierce fighting. Our allies showed how loyal and devout to Irish liberty they were and not once could I question the support our humbled nation received. We never were alone on that battlefield and as the leader of this country, I could not be more proud of the assistance we received.

The war was not over and eIreland was given the momentum. Newfoundland & Labrador was not an easy fight. Canadian resistance was futile but the Irish offensive was superior. Battles were won by the skin of our teeth. Canada seemed defeated but we showed no remorse as we crushed this middle-ground.

The real final fight was in Nova Scotia. Canada were not backing down and they placed high CO for the first two rounds. With allied support we only spent 30k against Canada who spent 90k, yet only managed to secure one point (none of their 90k was spent on earning this point). With no signs of success, the Canadian army slowly began to wind down and they accepted defeat. The sheer difference in expenses and battle outcome really captures the one clear message I got from these battles:

Our soldiers are ready, our allies stand by us - eIreland is a force.

During the first round of Nova Scotia we asked the Canadian government about ending the war. We were asked why by the man himself and told that Rylde didn't want peace by their Minister of Foreign Affairs. I have since renewed my offer to Rylde of an assurance that Canada will not propose a Natural Enemy onto eIreland.

We do not want this war.

We do not want to occupy Canadian soil.

We will protect our nation.

Until a Treaty is signed, I intend to keep the two Canadian regions to prevent a further Canadian attack.
