I am the Press Secretary this month, and I will give you informations about what happens in the government!
So I interviewed Schwrzwolf, the current CP of Austria!

Hello! What are your main goals in this term?

The first and most important goal is to let Austrian citizens enjoy this month. I and my team will try to achieve this by supplying you with more information, trying to comply with your demands and giving you possibilities to develop yourself as a player in this browsergame. Other goals include the successful ending of the current trainwar with Slovakia and getting some new and active MPPs to have regular battles for the daily orders. Maybe getting a new trainwar would also be a good way to ensure this. A special goal is the updating of our tutorials, to better inform new players.

When will the war with Slovakia end? When will they reverse us as NE?

The war could end any day now. We are discussing the possibility of a rental of two Austrian regions though and this is prolonging the war for now. For this rental to happen we need the cooperation of a third country and negotiations have been slow due to difficulties with meetings between the respective parties. There will be a governmental update on the situation when we finally if and how this project will be realised.

Are there any proceedings with other countries regarding trainwars?

Yes, there might be one with Switzerland in the near future, but the details aren’t fixed yet. We’ll have to end the trainwar with Slovakia first anyway.

How do you want to avoid misunderstandings like there were with Slovakia?

With being an active president. I log in very often during the day and am additionally on IRC on most evenings. This way, I can react reasonably fast to these kinds of situations that brought us into the war and diffuse the tensions. This means that should it happen again that a Member of Congress proposes a Natural Enemy (NE) law without consent from the government, I’ll contact the target of the NE proposal as soon as possible.

Are there any plans of using airstrikes? Does it even make sense to use them in such a small country?

No, there are no such plans. An airstrike would consume almost our entire treasury, leaving us not enough money to sign MPPs in the future. I suppose this is true for other small countries as well.

Ich bin dieses Monat Pressesekretär. Meine Aufgabe ist es, euch mit Informationen über aktuelle Geschehnisse in der Regierung zu versorgen.
Hier mein Interview mit Schwrzwolf:

Hallo! Was sind deine Hauptziele in dieser Amtszeit?

Das erste und wichtigste Ziel ist, den österreichischen Bürgern einen angenehmen Monat zu ermöglichen. Ich und mein Team werden versuchen euch mehr zu informieren, eure Wünsche zu erfüllen und euch die Chance zu geben, ein wichtiger Teil dieses Browsergames zu werden. Andere Ziele sind, den Trainingskrieg mit der Slowakei erfolgreich zu beenden, und neue und aktive MPP’s auszuhandeln um regelmäßig Daily Orders verfügbar zu haben. Einen neuen Trainingskrieg zu starten wäre ein guter Weg, dies zu erfüllen. Ein spezielles Ziel ist außerdem, die Tutorials zu aktualisieren um die Spieler besser zu informieren.

Wann wird der Krieg mit Slowenien enden? Wann werden sie uns als NE aberkennen?

Der Krieg könnte an sich jederzeit enden. Allerdings besprechen wir derzeit die Möglichkeit, zwei österreichische Regionen zu vermieten und das lässt den Krieg noch andauern. Damit diese Vermietung stattfinden kann, brauchen wir nämlich die Mitwirkung eines anderen Landes und die Verhandlungen dauern länger als gewohnt, weil es Probleme mit Treffen zwischen den verschiedenen Parteien gibt. Sobald klar ist, ob und wie dieses Projekt stattfindet, wird die Regierung darüber informieren.

Gibt es Verhandlungen mit anderen Ländern, bezüglich Trainwars?

Ja, in naher Zukunft, nachdem wir den Trainingskrieg mit der Slowakei beendet haben, werden wir vielleicht einen Trainingskrieg mit der Schweiz haben. Die Details dazu sind aber noch offen. Jedenfalls muss der Krieg mit der Slowakei zuerst beendet werden.

Wie willst du Missverständnisse, wie vor kurzem mit der Slowakei, vorbeugen?

Hauptsächlich damit, ziemlich aktiv zu sein. Ich logge mich sehr oft, während des Tages ein und bin meistens am Abend im IRC aktiv. Dadurch kann ich schnell auf solche Situationen reagieren. Das heißt: Sollte es noch einmal passieren, dass ein Kongress-Mitglied ohne Erlaubnis der Regierung ein Natural Enemy (NE) vorschlägt werde ich das Ziel des NE-proposals schnellstmöglich kontaktieren.

Gibt es Pläne, Airstrikes zu verwenden? Macht es überhaupt Sinn, diese in einem so kleinen Land wie Österreich zu verwenden?

Nein, es gibt keine solche Pläne. Ein Airstrike würde nahezu unser ganzes Staatsvermögen kosten, wodurch wiederum zu wenig Geld überbleibt um MPP’s zu unterzeichnen. Ich denke das trifft aber auch auf andere kleine Länder zu.
