3. Civilization 5 game

Last friday I was struck with a terminal illness that inhibited me from writing the Federalist Weekly Feature. Ok, maybe not terminal but it sucked nonetheless so feel bad for me! Anyway 🙂, I figured it would be best to include a section in this week's FPR telling you all a little bit about it. Yes, I'm talking about the Civ 5 game!

This is an idea thought up about a week ago (ABOUT A WEEK AGO, WEEK AGO) by our very own MrCarey the Federalist Retention Director. For those of you that don't know what Civ 5 is here's a short description:

In Civilization V, the player leads a civilization from prehistoric times into the future on a procedurally generated map, achieving one of a number of different victory conditions through research, exploration, diplomacy, expansion, economic development, government and military conquest.

Anyways if this seems interesting to you here is the Google Form you'll need to fill out if you want to participate. This form will help us determine which expansions will be used and what days work best!

4. One-line department summaries

How's each department going? What's gonna be happening in the near future? Here is one or two sentence summing up the activities of each department that keep this party running!

Party President - Orikfricai

Orikfricai has been hard at work keeping our party together and operating as efficiently as possibile while also putting together our congress list. His efforts were rewarded though as evident in our tremendous success these past elections!

Recruitment - Aramec

Aramec continues to look into potential new members for the Feds as well as other broad ways of encouraging players to join the party

Political - Cromstar

Congressional elections have just finished so the political department is now getting ready for Country President nominations!

Retention - MrCarey

MrCarey is spending most of his time setting up the exciting Civ 5 game discussed above. Should be a great time!

Media - Matt Oaks

You're looking at it! 🙂

5. FPR Wrap-up

Well, that's all for this week. The media team hopes you enjoyed this week's edition of FPR and reminds you to look forward to this Friday's feature the Federalist National Press Release that will be coming out any day now!

We apologize again (we won't make a habit of having to apologize don't worry) for Friday's mishap but unfortunately no matter how much Dioist power we harness, sickness cannot be prevented all the time XD. Good news is I don't plan on getting sick again anytime soon so, on that note:

Thank you, good day an😛

Stay Proud and Horny, America!
