Hello fellow eAmericans and welcome to the 6th edition of eUS News.
In today’s edition:

An Interview with eUSA's Favorite Duck
Q. If you win the election, what would you try to achieve during that term?

A. Right now we have a rather divided eUS. The majority and the opposition both distrust each other and this distrust causes us pain. I hope to find some way to mend fences between the both to start working together instead so that we fight for a united goal rather than separate goals. It will take a lot of time and work, but it is what I feel that we should be focusing on right now because we are not what we once was.

Q. What's your favorite food? Please don't say duck 😛

A. Peking duck. Just kidding, what kind of barbarian do you take me for? I am a duck myself so I could not be a cannibal! On a more serious note I would most likely have to say lamb racks.

Q. Why should the average player want to vote you into office?

A. I don't work to forward myself, I work to forward the country. Some might not like the policies nor the direction that I think is right, that is only natural, but I do not follow that direction to profit myself. I have put in a lot of time and effort for this nation only because it was needed and I felt like I had the time and energy to spend to reach that goal

Q. I don't know exactly what your avatar is but shouldn't be a duck?

A. It is the ancient norse God of Mischief, Loki. He can take the shape of any kind of animal or human. Hence I can be a duck as well. Is it a duck is it a Loki?

Q. The recent law on fighting against a dictator can result in blacklisting, what exactly is your take on that?

A. If a meta Congress is to work there need to be rules established that also are followed and respected. Else it all comes crashing down. Our meta game is not perfect, far from it, but sadly it is something we need to be able to communicate effectively with each other. We can't fit 56 people into a PM group and have conversations here.

I might not like it, but I do think it might be needed for the future to avoid internal turmoil. I personally would not think that a blacklist will solve anything, that only excludes people that we so desperately needs but a censure for the month in Congress? I would be okay with that. Again, this also needs to be respected and not abused. If it starts to get abused it defeats every purpose of our meta.

Q. What was your most embarrassing moment in eRepublik?

A. I can't say that I have had any embarrassing moments. If I do I do not remember them at all. But hey, maybe that's for the best, push all those bad memories away and keep the good ones.
