[ES][EN] CARTA A POLONIA/LETTER TO POLAND

Queridos amigos polacos,

Antes de nada, pedir disculpas por el anterior artículo. Quisimos editarlo, pues había generado confusión y diferentes lecturas, y para evitar seguir generando dudas, lo borramos a la espera de esta nueva carta, que no es sino una edición más clara del anterior.

Nos gustaría transmitir el sentimiento de la gran mayoría de españoles, por eso escribimos estas líneas. Nos parece importante dirigirnos a vuestra comunidad de manera directa, más allá del gobierno, sobre todo en estos tiempos tan duros. Queremos aportar algo de luz entre tanta oscuridad.

Durante los últimos meses hemos sufrido ataques de múltiples países y alianzas a los que en nuestra situación actual no hemos podido hacer frente, y eso se ha traducido en derrotas militares, pérdida de regiones y borrados. Es decir entendemos muy bien vuestra situación, notando una clara falta de apoyo. Sin embargo, queremos remarcar que en vuestra campaña nunca estuvisteis solos. Nos enorgullecemos en pensar que hicimos todo lo posible para ayudaros, luchando codo con codo como tantas otras veces; aunque lamentablemente se ha visto que todos nuestros esfuerzos fueron insuficientes y nos borraron a ambos.

Por todo ello, comprendemos que el gobierno de Polonia ha tratado y trata activamente de buscar una situación en la que Polonia pueda mejorar y prosperar de nuevo. Tristemente, no podemos seguir el camino que habéis iniciado hacia Asteria. Todo esto hace que sea muy difícil recorrer juntos, como siempre lo hemos hecho, y que necesitamos trabajar juntos duramente para conseguirlo.

Finalmente y sin alargarnos demasiado, a pesar de que nuestros países no estén unidos bajo la misma alianza, nuestras comunidades están unidas por algo que hace tiempo que nos ha superado, nuestra hermandad Spoland. No importa lo que diga o haga el gobierno de España o de Polonia. 5 años juntos. 5 años de hermandad y compañerismo. 5 años de luchar codo con codo y de apoyarnos unos a otros, en las buenas situaciones y en las malas. 5 años con miles de batallas en las que hemos peleado juntos, con los desafíos afrontados (los que salieron bien, los pocos que salieron mal)... que sin duda alguna es lo que más ha merecido la pena de este pseudosimulador llamado eRepublik y por el cual muchos seguimos aquí esperando que prolongue hasta el final.

Es por eso que en esta carta escrita con el corazón de nuestra comunidad queremos recordar que Spoland es eterna. Que es una de las pocas razones por las que cientos de españoles siguen jugando. Que a pesar de que nuestro país no vaya a poder seguiros, podéis contar con nosotros para lo que sea necesario. En España siempre encontrareis un país amigo en el que poder confiar, pase lo que pase; que no olvida lo que hemos pasado juntos.

Es un auténtico placer y un verdadero honor haber estado a vuestro lado todo este tiempo...¡y el tiempo que nos queda aún, por mucho que otros quieran vernos separados!

Before we start, we would like to apologize for the last article. We wanted to edit, because it gave way to confusion and different interpretations, so to avoid causing doubts, we erased it until we were able to finish this letter, a clearer edition of the last one.

We would like to transmit the feeling of the majority of Spaniards, and for that end we have written these lines. We feel it is important to address directly to your community, beyond the government, especially in these hard times. We want to shed some light among this much darkness.

For the past months we have suffered attacks from multiple countries and alliances who we could not face given our situation, and this has brought us military defeats, loss of regions and wipes. We truly understand how you felt being isolated, perceiving a clear lack of support. However you were never alone in your campaigns. We are proud thinking we did everything in our hands to help you, fighting side by side as many times before. Sadly our efforts were not enough and we both ended up wiped.

For all that we understand the Polish government has tried and still tries to find a situation by which Poland can improve and prosper again. Sadly we cannot follow your journey towards Asteria. That makes it very hard to stay together as we always have, and a challenge working together to achieve it.

Finally and without being too lengthy, despite our countries not being united under the same alliance, our communities are linked by something that has long since overtaken us, our brotherhood SPoland; no matter what do or say the Spanish and Polish governments. Five years together, five years of brotherhood and comradeship. Five years of fighting side by side and supporting each other, in both favourable and dire situations. Five years with all those thousands of battles we fought together, all the challenges we tackled (the many successful ones, the few unsuccessful others)... Clearly that is what made it worth our time in this pseudo-simulator called eRepublik, and is the reason why many of us are still here hoping it lasts until the very end.

That is why in this letter written from the depths of the heart of our community we want to remind that SPoland is eternal. It is one of the few reasons why hundreds of Spaniards keep on playing. Although our country will not be able to follow you, rest assured you can count on us for whatever help you may need. In Spain you will always find a friend to trust, whatever the circumstances; who does not forget what we have gone through all these years.

It is a real pleasure and truly an honour to have been at your side all this time… And the times yet to come, despite how much others thrive to see us apart!
