[eRepOlympics] Explaining the Scavenger Hunt

Day 2,269, 10:02 Published in USA USA by The Wild Card

So yesterday I let people know how to take part in the most involved and most rewarding segment of the eRepublik Olympics, the Biathlon. Today I'm going to explain to you the Scavenger Hunt.
Requirements

There are none. All you have to do is look for the clues we post. Once you find out where the clue is supposed to lead you, find the next clue. When you get to the final clue you'll fill out a form to make sure you found every clue and didn't just stumble across the final clue accidentally. No sign up is required.

What do I do then?

Simply continue to follow my newspaper where each day I will post the first clue of the day. This is a daily event that will run for the full 2 weeks of the Olympics. They will be plain and obvious clues since it will state "SCAVENGER HUNT CLUE" before the actual clue. These will be released at 09:00 eRepublik time.

How do these clues work?

Here's an example of a clue for you.

Go to the member who's ID matches the following:
2ACFEI

Now here's the answer

How did I get to that answer? Well I realized the ID posted wasn't Base 10 or decimal like eRep ID numbers are. It's actually vigesimal or Base 20. So I converted the number and went to the profile who's number matched the results I got. It turned out to be me! Now I'd probably check the "About Me" section and see if there's another clue there.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for the daily winners. We will keep track of how well you do throughout the entire contest and we'll give out awards to weekly and overall winners. There will be a lot of opportunity to win prizes during this.

What will you win? Well it depends on how involved the clues are. If there's only 3 or 4 clues we may offer some gold or country currency. If there's 10-12 clues (There may be a case that we do this) we may offer 5-10 GOLD and some Q7 weapons or Q5 food. The overall and weekly winners will receive grand prizes that will be well worth the minimal effort you have to put in to win.
