Dear citizens and friends,
After becoming part of CoT, this nation has not stopped moving. Certain events took place and the government has been working in order to keep eBelgium working and to come up with the ideas promised in the campaign articles.
A selection:
😉The Blue Ribbon Commission, with representatives of all kind of players, is busy with an attempt to decrease the costs of the citizen programs, without cutting back on it's efficiency. Once a summarised report has been made, they will vote on it and if it is approved, this will be presented to Congress.
😉The Cabinet has slightly changed, we welcome a new Secretary, Kevork Pamboukian, and BrunoCND will take over the office of Vice-President
😉A new MoD-strike (MoD, Ministry of Defense) will be held on Friday, day 1795 (see http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-mod-friday-strike-with-free-weapons--2140091/1/20 )

😉Our Army does not longer have any SO's (SO, Supply Officer), what has been brought to Congress its attention. In order to reduce the costs for the treasury, a law change will be voted on.
😉The immigration guidelines have been made. These should help the IO (IO, Immigration Officer) in an objective way to handle immigration. Currently, they have just been presented to Congress, that is free to do with it as it wants ( http://www.erepbelgium.com/t7593-immigration-guidelines#149827 ). The government hopes that constructive feedback in the congress debate can improve this policy.
😉After many hours of work, our Minister of Education has started with publishing a guide for newer players. This guide has been realised with aid of the Swiss Ministry of Education. Furthermore, a program offering mentoring for newer players will be set-up.
😉eBe is asking for an NE (NE, Natural Enemy) and the government is aware of this. Already very early, before the CP elections even, both members of my government and I stressed out that we find this very important and would do our best. We didn't make any promisse, since that is just silly.
Unfortunately, one of the ways to get an NE will not be possible for some time, but the government will look further and once there is a conclusion, more information will be released.

First of all I want to congratulate Kebork Pamboukian our new secretary.
Don't lose your motivation just because some people while all day long without trying to arrange things without flamming. The most important is how the gov will make positives changes and bring good things in our eCountry.
As said eBelgium made some improvement, for exemple the fact we are a full member of CoT, the new tutorials that is coming will help younger players to handle eRepublik.
For those who want a NE to get some TP medal, don't worry the gov didn't forget you, it's just that making a war is not as easy as someone who push the button... the gov have to be careful about our relations with other country and our current MPP.
Making a war cost money and it can become dangerous of us, if we make a war with the wrong country, for exemple some country can take this as a way to attack this same country, be sure something like that can return against us.
Two weeks... Nothing.
Next two weeks? Nothing.
Your definition of nothing and mine seem to be very different. This looks like quite a bit of something to me.
I will note that in eBelgian news, a picture of some guy's armpit gets 3x as many votes as the posting of the eBelgian CP.

Constructive comments guys! We know you both hate our current CP, but all you achieve with that sort of remarks is getting people annoyed. And don't rely on annoyed people to vote for you in the elections, so if you want to have any influence in the next month, please, for your own sake, be constructive.
To stay on topic: Voted, in my opinion the SO-and-army matters are the biggest priority, as we bet a lot on our military power by ending our neutrality.
the membership in the dubious cot alliance (decided without proper referendum!) have only brought bothersome obstacles for belgian clicking class. CMs (CM, a delegate to the ingame congress module) need to stop fawn over the cot, to stop follow this reactionary gvt (kylero is correct), and vote some sweet NE (NE, natural enemy, a tool which starts the war for free, kyionori) against some neigbouring bully (aka polish reich).

Gyantse please. i dont work in government no. but i may be the foremost defense against multis in eBe and have been so for quite some time. so dont tell me i dont do anything.

I am want to do something good for youngers. Yes, the article isnt mine, but I say that. Maybe you caught some multies but you cant never ban all multies.
I can help ban those in eBelgium. All I'm saying is that anybody could havr done what you did and people do. As MoE...think outside the box because this has been done before and nothing has changed. How about a leadership academy, certifications, etc.? Something new and inclusionary.
Academy will start to work in next days. I dont want to arguing, but you can see the most of Belgian commuity are death and articles dont getting a lot of votes ( can say a lot of working for nothing). I see the good guide and get aprove to published it. This can help some of newplayers but if we gettin a lot of ewlayers, situation will be tottaly different.

You must be joking with when you wrote this last part, I would like to ask you for whom I`m shooting, I`m spending my WEP, Food, Raw and the gold, when I can`t get True Patriot medal and when we don`t have NE. Beacuse it is one of the targets of this game to achieve and to fight for. CoT is not good aliance for us.
In today`s everyday world there is no such a thing as neutrality, we have to place ourself in this context, so by taking this into consideration I think our dear eBelgium should be a part of a stronger and bigger alliance, whereas my own favorite is EDEN. With a help of our alliances we can fight any war, anywhere. But if stay neutral or we never fight wars, so then for me there is no sense to continue to play this game and to invest any money further on as I don`t get what I paid for.
i'm not sure but is a ne a bit late now? We should have one on the reserve when a mission involving a ne pops up we can benefit from the extra resources, exp or rank points. I don't think a ne right now should be very important.
Summary: just try to seal the deal with a possible ne for the future. Not for now.
