[eBe-CP] Start of Term

Dear citizens of eBelgium,
This is my first official addressing to the public and I hope it will be taken positively by you, the people of eBelgium. I have many things to say, but in this statement I will focus on the latest events in eBelgium and my current preoccupations.
At the beginning I want to thank all the citizens that voted for me on the 5th December, I am sure you made the right choice. My program and cabinet are available (for anyone that missed that) in my campaign article, so I don't want to repeat myself here again. I have a good team around me, so I hope we will do great things for eBelgium, in fact we have already made some steps in that direction, but I will elaborate on that later in this article.
I also want to say that these first few days of my mandate I used the time to re-establish communication and the contacts with the foreign countries and their newly elected Governments. So, mostly MoFA matters done behind the curtains which I think is very important, but if there are major changes in that department I will inform you in due time. But let's start with the more important things for now...
First of all and the most important thing I want to talk about is the recent transfer of state funds from the National Bank to the Bank Managers.
As you already know, the funds from the NBB-BNB (National Bank) org were taken by the previous Country President - Thanatos the Magnificent - with the intention to secure those funds and to be transferred later to the Bank Manager(s) for safekeeping. The Bank Mangers project is a well established practice in eBelgium for more than a year now and I can assure everyone that those funds were not stolen by Thanatos (as some suggested) and that the transfer has been made. Thanatos was and still is one of the most loyal and committed politicians this country has seen.

The proof:
As you can see in this MoF article, the last updated balance on the National Bank was 393,073 BEF on the account. Elynea donated 40 gold for new MPP, this gold was exchanged for currency and additional 7946,4 BEF went to the Bank account (screenshot). The total is: 393,073 + 7946,4 = 401019,4 BEF. Thanatos then transferred the whole amount of the funds to the Bank Manager Jofroi (screenshot). I leave it to Jofroi to decide whether he splits those funds among the other Bang Managers, but I want to thank him for this screenshot he has provided me with, which confirms that he is rich he got the money from Thanatos. I know that he will now be the subject of harassment by some players, but I know him well, he's a good chap and he'll take it as a man. 😃
My final words about this topic are that I trust the Bank Managers system that has proved successful over the course of a prolonged period of time. The system was placed for a reason and I will support it. Having said this, my program is not jeopardized in any way, as I will be able to request funds from the Bank Managers when the time comes for that. Thanatos is therefore clear of any allegations addressed to him.
Second thing I want to talk about is the recent Eclypsia baby-boom. I want to officially address and welcome the new players registered in eBelgium.

eBelgium can use new players and new blood and hopefully it can grow together with you. This is our new hope, the eyes of the eBelgian community are directed to you and your growth. Some of the old players are anxious and skeptical about what your plans for eBelgium will be in the future and I understand them given your numbers and the potential shift of power on the political stage that can result from it. I hope that you will quickly learn the basics of the game and stay in it for long time. Also I hope that you will realize the position of eBelgium and use that power for the good of this community. Some donation initiatives have already taken place to support you, the new players, and also plenty of educational articles were published in the media by some responsible players, plenty of those will come out in the weeks ahead. I thank all citizens that are helping the young ones and I confirm that the Government will look to support you as well.
This, brings me to the next topic. Today ThomasRed came to me with an idea I immediately accepted. It is an incentive for the new players from the latest Eclypsia baby-boom for joining the National Forum. They need a place where they can organize and share opinions, so he created a sub-forum on the National Forum which is private and only accessible to Eclypsia group members. We hope many of them will join and stay in the game and use the Forum, which as we can see can use some more activity.
Thomas was in talks with one of their leaders and their official agreement for this was due to come, but I was offline then and I write this article late in the night so I still expect confirmation of this. Anyway, the incentive consists of 500hp food and 5Q7 weapons, it is offered by The Government of eBelgium to celebrate the opening of their forum and it is one time only. Every new Eclypsia member that joins the forum will get this one time incentive pack. The pack will be distributed through donations probably by Thomas himself. I will request funds for this from the Bank Managers and the results from this program will be published later.
I wanted to say a few more things, but this article is getting long enough already, so I will leave that for some other time. My appeal to the citizens is to accept the new players and help them integrate in the community as best they can, our future depends on that. Till the next time...
