DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION JUNE 8TH PRESS RELEASE

Hello America,

It has been a while since the last Department Press Release. This has been due to some technical issues the Department had been facing. We are glad to announce that the problems have been fixed and you can look forward to more regular communication from the Department.

Department Audit

The lack of regular Press Releases does not mean that the Department has been doing nothing during this period, in fact it has been quite the opposite. The Department of Education has been hard at work performing its goals of educating the eUS public. Details of just what the Department has accomplished over the past three terms would be provided after the completion of an internal Department audit ordered three days ago by Secretary Blande.

The Secretary of Education

On that note, we will like to make an update on the current status of Secretary Blande. As most of you know, Secretary Blande took a much needed vacation about two weeks ago to distress a little (he had been at work for 6 months without a break) and also to take care of rl issues. He briefly returned to the Department on June 5th, before having to leave again the very next day when he got eMarried to the beautiful Foxi Roxi. They are currently on their honeymoon on the Seychelles Islands. The secretary is expected to return to work on Wednesday.

It is important to note that even while on his honeymoon, the Secretary has been keeping informed on national issues as can be seen in this still from the battlefield in Eastern Macedonia

He also managed to find the time to keep the curious among us informed on how his honeymoon is progressing: You can read that here.

The last piece of business, Deputy Secretary Xander Wilson has been handling some of the workload of the Secretary during his absence. We will like to thank Deputy Xander for his hard work and dedication to the Department.

That is it for today folks. We hope you will tune in later for more information from the Department of Education.

Sincerely,
Department of Education
