Where the CPF has exemplified the superiority of our belief is in how we vote.

Just as I lay out our party information in articles, in the game (such as now), just as the CPF uses an in-game message thread to bring our issues before the entire membership, the CPF also delegates our voting to entirely the game.”

One of things I realized prior to my Party Presidency is that that the last thing the CPF needs is a little group of seniors in the party making decisions at the top. Relying on a Council only limits input. I can't get a vibe of what the membership wants if I'm relaying everything with a Cabinet, let alone with little cooperation seminars with those other parties. I want to be accountable and responded to. I want debate and argument, not docility from eCanada's premier party. We don't need the other parties to be number one. We only need ourselves to be better.



So, I wish to reiterate that the election procedure for the Canadian Progressive Front will not be a repeat of the last several months. I don't want a repeat of the last CP election where we had nobody to get behind as a party and get stuck on sidelines with nothing to say. We're the party that has principles for everything and were not brought into existence because of a silly or narrow focus on one issue like the forum or the military because we are democratic and here to work on building policy rather than building cliques.

As such, for Congressional elections, especially with the prospect that we might or will probably not have a 40-member Congress, I have already given the party's message threads a list of questions that you should answer when I try decide where to rank you on the 24th. Since instead of having 12 members elected this month, we might likely have 8, ignoring my request for more info on you and for you to show initiative might lead to getting stuck on the outside looking in, CPFer.

Country Presidential elections is where the entire CPF membership will be given a private message on the last day of the month from me, where I will ask members to pick a Candidate among the list of Candidates I provide. The list will be of all publicly announced CP candidates, with a link to a platform article. The Candidate with the plurality of votes will be picked as the party’s nominee during my last login on the 2nd. I will publish the results on the 3rd.

Party Presidential elections will be open votes. I cannot decide who can be PP like I can decide who can be a Congress member or our CP nominee so I won’t.



As a party that believes in the supremacy of game mechanics over all roleplaying, these are things that can be done and responded to in the game, encouraging representation of the party membership. These procedures are in my mind; simple, fair and democratic. If you do not like them, then I'm open to suggestions or having to defend them on the 15th.
