So this is how it feels to have allies come and save your azz. We now know how it really feels to be UK and we can no longer whine about that as a nation when going to war with UK cause we just got saved.

We obviously owe a huge debt of gratitude to Portugal, France and and Brazil. A debt so big we'll gonna have to sit on our buttons for a few months rebuild and do nothing but back up our much deserving allies.

Its true we lost the war with UK as its plain as day but it wasn't like we just lost straight up. We held onto our perfect record of shooting down airstrikes and waged way more wars than a nation or size should have. Some were by choice others were just nations wanting a piece of us that had to be put down. Months of fighting multiple countries will wear a nation down to the point there's nothing left to give.

We got caught on the wrong end of airstrikes, multiple NE's and asked everything from every citizen possible to wage it.

So I say welcome to the crap end of the stick UK and

Hail Portugal!
Hail France!!
Hail Brazil!!!



I have obviously been inactive as CP lately for various reasons. My first x-mas season as a retail manager, new love life and my kiddo has been visiting lately.

I take full blame for being silent as the head of the country. So flame me and call me down but do not call down my govt. By doing so your pissing on the heads of Klop, Smoke, Xichael, Mary chan and Xander. That will just not do.

Who the hell do you think organized this whole liberation of our nation. A silent govt doesn't mean a useless govt as I obviously had the right people in place and they deserve full credit for what has happened in the last week. Plus it took a week prior to convince everyone to go all in for Canada.

I left them my account info and a mandate of no deals that included paying UK or letting them retain any of our territory. I also threw in some scotch tape and white elmers glue and we went from possibly not having a congress this month to giving UK a mild threat of not having there own.

The nation owes my cabinet a debt of gratitude. I myself owe them a hell of alot more.

As a lesson to future CP's you don't need a huge cabinet but you have to have the ones in there willing to get there hands dirty and pick up your slack when required.



This line is very true and all I can say in my defense is lmao I didn't expect to win. Who writes nothing doesn't ask anyone for votes or endorses and pulls out the W in elections. Oh yeah.... This guy lmao some more!!!

With that I will be more active for the rest of the term and do the job I was elected to. Whoever the CP is in December will have a quiet stable nation to inherit.



I do have some sad news to impart to the country. A long time member of the community has left us quietly and as a long time supporter of the country and myself in particular I had to say something.

Umbra Bellator has retired from eRepublik. This is the only time plato's tears aren't sweet when we lose one of our own. Especially one who has fought so hard and bled so much for us whenever the country was at war.

He was beyond generous with the amount he gave to the country and in particular my crazy war scenario's. Always willing to donate tanks and CC for the countries offense and defense he will be missed. if you wonder why the nations gold coffers are so full its because he liquidated everything and donated it all to the country.

Even in the end he didn't give any one person everything. He gave it all to the country he believed in and was a part of. He will be sorely missed.
