[CP] On the alliance
Het Catshuis
Dear citizen,
As you can read is the new Serbia and Hungary, two big countrys in our alliance Phoenix, left the alliance. This is a big bang for our alliance and will probleply end in the disbanding of our alliance. I can tell you that this wasnt a big suprise to me, neither to a lot others. When I talked 6 months ago with one of the former SG's of PHX we where allready wondering when it would end. Official PHX s still alive, but I doubt that it will stay for 2 more days. I espect any second a article of disbanding PHX in the media.
So what are we gonna do now? Make a new alliance? I dont know. There is on thing I pray for, and that is that Eden break up too. That this will be the end of "big" alliances like we always had. We have fought for 2 years the same battles. 1 more epic then the other, but always the same coutnry's against the same other country's.
So.... I do nothing. I sit back and wait. Until what? Until things stabelize. Until we know how the world will look like when PHX, and maybe Eden too, is gone. I will stya friendly to our neighbours UK, GER, PL, BE and FR. We wont make profit of it when we make them upset.
I hope you can understand my point of view. I hope Antiko will share the same view as me when he gets elected next month.
For further discussions about this I direct you to our forum.
Your president,

"I hope Antiko will share the same view as me when he gets elected next month."
Wow, I thought we had free elections, but it seems the CP already knows who will win...
I want multipolair alliances!! 😃 COmintern, here we come xD
lol AI, thanks for the support and trust in me.
Anyway i do share the same opinion as AI in this case.
I also believe that mofa will be an important position again.
Well, we also could leave PHOENIX first. That does show something I guess.
And what does it show Matt?

Well, if you stay with Phoenix till the very end, it shows where your loyalty lies, you will be seen as a country that stayed with them the entire time. And if you want to form a good relationship with Poland afterward, it might not go as smoothly. Judging from the comments, everybody is tired of big ass alliances, so why are we still with Phoenix anyway?
So what you want is showing loyalty forwards Eden members by leaving PHX? I think you miss some experience on this matters Matt...
=[
@broersje: Perhaps it's already known by them on which candidate the remaining multie Croats will vote for ; )
Elections in eNL can hardly be called real democratic elections.
Lol,
elections are as democratic as possible. I cant force anybody who to vote. neither you...
well, I can... my multies 😁
"... my multies 😁 "
But I have eBelgian citizenship... *o*
Finally, maybe we can have some more alliances this time with more fast battles and movement over the globe.
"We have fought for 2 years the same battles. 1 more epic then the other, but always the same coutnry's against the same other country's." = BORING!!!
I think it would be better to leave Phoenix too, it shows activity and I personally would advise to keep strong ties with the eUK, wherever they go. They have meant a great deal to us in the past.
If we can even enter an alliance, I think some countries might see us as dead weight. And not worth a 100g MPP.
No, you see it wrong. Leaving the alliance PHX now brings us nothing. It is only a bad sign forwards the countrys who are still in PHX. We wait to see first how it turns out.
This time we choose the dark-side 😡
We should create a western european allaince, that would be enough

@ Andreas, I'm just not exactly sure. You want to show loyalty, I wan't to show initiative. PHX can be declared unstable, just not yet dead. Personally I don't think it will recover from this incident. Therefore we must make sure that once the old PHX companions rearange into new groups, we can join the group we prefer. We must at all costs avoid being left out all alone, that could be disasterous.
Hmmm...
When you arent in a alliance it doesnt mean that nobody helps you. Declaring war to Poland or they to us is disasterous. Staying on the side line to watch how this turns out is just the best option in my eyes. When we leave PHX now we show something forwards the other who left, but it shows more to the ones who are still in PHX. You can say that PHX is practically dead, but it still isnt declared dead by our SG.
I can understand that you have a different point of view, but if you where like me active in the alliance the last months you should do exactly the same. I cant say much about it, but pls, trust me.
You are probably right, you got more facts to base your opinion on. We'll see how it turns out, and I definatly trust you. Afterall you have been right before.
It are turbulent times we play in.
I think you should stay in PHX, how AndreasIsaksson said.
However in the same time you can start some negotiations with some country's like UK and talk about them what will happen when PHX will totally die. So you don't need to leave PHX to talk about the future with some possible new alliance's...
AI: "So what you want is showing loyalty forwards Eden members by leaving PHX? I think you miss some experience on this matters Matt... "
In your article you stated you want to maintain a good relationship with Poland, and I brought forth a reason why leaving Phoenix would be in favour of that. I never talked about loyalty towards Eden, just a positive sign towards them. You might not agree with me on the matter, but please don't do away my argument due to my 'lack of experience' (how do you judge that?), while you don't even give good reasons for your idea except we should 'trust you'. That was some really weak discussion point.
I really regret to say this Matt but 'Well, if you stay with Phoenix till the very end, it shows where your loyalty lies, you will be seen as a country that stayed with them the entire time. And if you want to form a good relationship with Poland afterward, it might not go as smoothly.' is just not correct. Whether we leave Phoenix now is of no importance for Poland.
