[CP] Dreams of December

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

I hope you find yourself well, and for our Dutch citizens had a nice 'Sinterklaas'. With elections behind us I am happy to say that we've been elected with a great mandate. It was refreshing to see both the other candidates, ElGorro and Alexthebest run as well with their own ideas. I believe we all more or less strive for the same things, which is a promising thought in these troubling times.

There seems to be some confusion about recent events, and whether or not this is damaging. The country of Croatia has stayed here for almost 6 months in all our cores, with which they have made their continued presence difficult to maintain. It makes our lands prime territory for everyone on the globe to start Resistance Wars here. If merely dropping the excess energy we all have in these battles against an unwilling guest is seen as reason to further strangle the eNetherlands, then everyone is free to draw his own conclusions of the viability of them staying here.

This does not mean that current actions taken are suicidal, it is in fact the sane thing to do. Sitting idle and nice would ensure that slowly, but surely, determination in our cores would reach the breaking point and decrease dramatically - ensuring a 6-month extension of the current conundrum. Croatia has simply outstayed their welcome and we are not going sit around doing the awkward dance for time immemorial - least of all provide them the opportunity to do so. Our independence and lands are chips for sale.

In the mean-time we have the luxury of having multiple Training Wars around the world. The carefully crafted Foreign Affairs that some seek to destroy have and will make sure that we can operate despite being occupied. Even production is hardly an issue, since Croatia will 'provide' us the required bonus in our cores. Our community chats (Join our Telegram!) have never been more active and in the end, that is what we always primarily played for. It remains key to cherish what we have and ensure it stays that way. We can have an awfully long breath.

If everything went well, we all still have a sizeable energy recovery and storage, as well as bombs and EBs for the weeks to come. Just as last week, we will provide a Dutch epic so our people can keep on growing. Until further order, the excess energy is enough to fight (even if it is very attractive to fight the occupation with everything we have). Fight smart, not hard.
