[AU] Renovations and Mentors

Day 2,823, 12:43 Published in USA USA by Department of Citizen Affairs

Hey eAmericans,

Its me, EddieA and I am back with another AU article. I will not take much of your time, just a few points to make.

Introduction:

Let's assume we are all noobs and don’t know anything about the Legendary American University which is right now under supervision of an Awesome Man, Let me give you a introduction about AU:

American University is the program run by Education part of DoCA, and like any real university, it aims at teaching students. Whenever a newbie joins, after even doing the quests and things, they don’t know what to do, how to fit in the community and just keep on 2 clicking for a month. When he finds no fun in eWorld because of a lack of guidance, he just leaves!

Our objective: We train such a person about all aspects of eLife, whether that be politics, media or military related. Some are destined to be writer, some have a craze for politics and some find the military module fun. Every citizen has an eDestiny and we put them on their way to it. Not only do we train them but we also reward them with supplies such as Food, Weapons and Gold. These help the mentee to jump start their early life.

Mentors:

First of all, let me start with saying a big thanks to the current team of Mentors for their dedication on teaching the Mentees. They are doing an absolutely awesome job.

An Event was held yesterday in Eddie Auditorium (This one looks better) in American University Campus, in which 'Special Dedication Awards' were awarded to Mentors of AU:

1. Robbie Williams:
This is one badass guy there has ever been and the best Mentor there ever has been in AU. He is dedicated to the job, always follows proper protocol, and has served as a mentor for many months.

2. Illiguy:

I can’t begin to describe the awesomeness of this guy, so I will just tell you a story about his hard-working spirit.
I asked him to make the forms for the new tests. I didn’t give him any deadline but when I asked him to get them done, that day he had a bad and tiring day at work but still managed to spend 3 hours making those tests.

With people like this volunteering in AU, it’s no wonder why this program runs very smoothly!!

Small Scale Renovation:

Lessons:

When Jaden A became Dean of AU, she felt it was necessary to revamp the lessons because the ones we were using were a bit outdated and needed some freshening up. She asked for approval and began the task of preparing new lessons for AU course. She was 95% done when she was lifted off from the position and placed as a co-Secretary of Department of Citizen Affairs. With the vacancy at the Dean position, I was promoted to the chair of the new AU Dean!. I took the honour of completing the remaining lessons.

Graphics:

Arent those new graphics looking great?! (If not, You need to visit an eye specialist). When I came in, I was informed that AU had no logo or graphics of its own and usually borrows Template from DoE or DoCA. Here we go now!

Want to Help?:

American University is looking for more Mentors to teach the growing number of new Mentees. We’ve been recruiting more diligently than ever before, and because of that, the number of new students is on pace to surpass the reasonable load for our mentors.

So, If you are interested, Contact EddieA (me).

Signing off,

EddieA
Dean of AU
