[AMP] What It Means to Retain

Day 2,048, 10:52 Published in USA USA by Bruce Killah

Today, I would just like to discuss AMP's Retention Department. Not what shape it is in or anything of that sort, but rather what it's purpose is and how we go about fulfilling that purpose.

Lets start by analyzing the department's name. Retention, the act of retaining. Our job isn't just to keep the in-game party's numbers high, but to keep the level of active, educated members as high as possible. What point is their to keep our in-game numbers high if the numbers are just fluff and the players are not educated about the political sphere of the eWorld? It is basically just stroking our... egos. My main goals whenever I come across a new member is to put off a good impression and help them solve any problems they are having or answering any questions they have. This is the true meaning of the Retention Department.

Sure, we also try to help newer players' battle-readiness out with Tank Programs and try to get newer players to meet and have fun with other party-mates with Game Nights, but we are here to help players get ready for Party and National political jobs. A prime example of this is our Internship Program, truly a favorite of mine to be honest, but my feelings about the program are inconsequential compared to the role it plays in shaping AMP's Leadership of tomorrow. I was first noticed through this exact same program and have now been a Retention Director/Deputy over 6 times. That sounds like results to me.

To wrap all of this up, I have a request to every AMPlifier. If you have a problem that you need help with, come to me or Syz2. We as the Retention Department will do our best to help you out with whatever it is or find someone else who can help you. We are here to educate as well as retain, but aren't they one in the same?
