Join the new world

My fellow AMPers,

Over the past month, I feel that we have once again found our footing. I have injected fresh new leaders into our Round Table, and helped streamline some of our programs and boosted the activity of both #AMP and our forums.. In this day and age of eRepublik, simpler is without a doubt better, and that is something that I have worked hard to achieve. I think that without a doubt, we are a better party than we were on July 15th.

Of course, the crown jewel of our rebirth has the Guns 4 Buns program. This is a program that delivers 600 Wellness to any AMP member. With the economy being as bad as it is, and our bonuses being so low, getting free food is more important than ever.




The Next Step
The one piece that hasn’t fallen into place like I wanted it to, has been our membership numbers. They have fallen off a bit in the past month, but so have most other parties. This is do partly to ATO, and partly the the New Lunar Republic forming. Any time a new party forms, and is aggressive with their media/recruiting presence, it takes a toll on established parties.

The way that we can correct this, is to create a better, more vibrant culture surrounding our party. There are very few ways that political parties, MUs or even countries can differentiate themselves. What makes one party better than another? What makes one MU more fun than another? These questions don’t always have easy answers, and the game mechanics provide none of them.

Therefore, it falls to the culture of a party. The inside jokes and memes. The forum banter and IRC friendliness. The Federalists have their proud/horny. The USWP has their zombies. Players do not join (and more importantly) stay in a party for new reason. They have to feel welcome, have fun while at the same time being able to achieve their political goals.

This is the next step for us: Reinvigorating the culture. Going months without a Party President really does wreak havoc on the culture of a party, and there is no easy fix. It will not be something completed overnight. This will be a long process, something that will need to extend far past my tenure as Party President. This is something that must be instilled upon the elders of our party, but more importantly on our rising stars and future leaders.

I have some ideas on how to do this, but I certainly do not have all the answers. One thing I think that we can really play up however is the military theme. This is something that sets us far apart from any other Top 5 (or any other American Party). I want to expound on it, and really play it up for all it is worth.

I want to lead our party towards this next step. The rebirth of the American Military Party is not complete, and I want to see it finished.

Therefore, I am running for Party President for another term.



The Party President Primary is open on our forums. You have the choice between CaseyJ a rising star within the party, and a future PP no matter what happens this month. I have the utmost faith in Casey should be best me.
Your other option is of course, me. I believe I bring the experience and drive vital to our party’s future. I have both the vision for our party and skill to see it executed.
