I can’t believe we’ve already hit the target I set myself for PP Addresses this month … I don’t remember I publically mentioned that (I wanted at LEAST 1 Address a week, ergo, 4 total), and with this one, we’ve hit it and I’m not quite done yet either … SUCCESS! But enough of tooting my own horn, I think there might be someone in the wings with a needle ready to try and pop what Ego I have if they feel it’s getting too big.

Here’s the diving board, let’s dive head first into the article! ;3

PotUS Primary Results!

So … Admins have been sneaky since I was last PP. The results of the Party Primary were greeling winning 11 votes to Tyler Bubblar’s 5 and Ghost of Tom Joad’s 3 … and so I was about to change the endorsement ingame when, surprisingly, I couldn’t find the button. Now, my knowledge has always been that CP Endorsement’s locked on the 3rd ready for the voting on the 5th.

NOPE

According to the Wiki, the endorsements lock in on the 2nd meaning … I was too late. Well shit. Suddenly, I had a small problem on my hands … but thankfully, that’s about to be resolved. Myself and greeling (Who too was unaware of the change) have spoken about what will happen, and he has said he will drop from the race.

Now, precedent in the party states that when the endorsed drops from the race, the primary’s runner up receives the endorsement (this is also noted in the party’s rules.). Therefore, the new winner of the AMP PotUS Endorsement by way of Meta-Game (Evry, the placeholder, will be dropped our official endorsement to stop an issue), is Tyler Bubblar. Congratulations.

If any Party Members have questions or issues with this unfortunate turn of events, please feel free to message me about them so that we may talk about it.

Introducing … THE LEGENDS OF AMP!

This was actually a project slated to be done a couple of terms ago. The idea remains a good one since I wonder how many of the current roster of the party understand what the names of people like Kria Erikson, Cleveland Fleman and Haliman did for the party? That’s what this project is all about -

Honoring the people in AMP who made a difference and changed the party for the better during their tenure, or stood out and helped show that AMP could offer quality to the country! Every single one of them has earned their spot in this project (I’m sure others will debate otherwise) and it’s about time it was made public.

So far, there are 12 names that have had some general consensus on being included, and while unfortunately the image with them has disappeared temporarily (I’m talking to Emdoublegee, who made the image, to reupload it ready) and there isn’t a huge amount to report on that front other than I will lead the project; Originally I planned to have our Education Director, Code-Y make it … But I’ve since realised that the best people to write most of it, would have to be someone who has been around to see most of them … Which sadly, comes down to just myself and Israel on that front, and Israel I doubt would want to spend the time reliving days of glory and how huge our parties once were.

This will tie in with the forum’s new feature - The Hallway of Fame. Unlike the Legends of AMP, which is set in stone at this point and done via Leadership, Hallway of Fame members will work in the following way -

* - Leadership will pick a selection of 3 people who they feel are worthy.
* - Each pick will, for now, be people who either no longer are in the game or no longer majorly active on the Meta-Scene
* - The picks are then put to a poll of the party, who can cast their vote on who they would like to see enter the HoF that particular time.
* - Simple Majority wins, and once confirmed, will be entered on the forum and an article released for the party to understand what that person did for the party.

All for now

There’s still more PP Addresses to come, and of course, 2 more Weekly Newsletters, a Mixlr AMP Radio Broadcast (On Saturday 6th Sept at 16:30 eRep) and the special AMP Radio show, where it will be hosted on none other than Twitch, with special guests included in both commentary and gameplay … Something new to the mix.

In the meantime, remember … it’s just a game, HAVE FUN!

The man of Integri … who am I kidding, i’m just a joker really
