Writing College Orientations

Day 2,504, 13:32 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

Hey everyone. I saw some positive response to my idea, and I even got someone interested enough to contact me for some help. So now that I know the reception is there, I'd like to get a bit more involved. In this article I will elaborate a bit more on what I'd like to help people with and what I'd like to see this program become. First, I'd like to not be the only person giving out help. I need some experienced mentors willing to devote 5-10 minutes of their day answering the questions of a newer writer interested in getting involved. I'd also of course like newer people interested in getting those mentors or my assistance with writing.

So here goes. Follow this link to submit your student or mentor application.

Of course I don't expect a huge opening class, I'd like to get this off the ground and officially up and running. If even a few articles are spawned from this push, I'll have considered it a success. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'd like to provide some ideas to people that could get you an article out.

Article Ideas and Opportunities

Please read the latest White House Press Room article. Towards the bottom you will see that there is currently a writing contest. For any of those interested and want some help, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would be glad to help. You get money and rewards for this by the way.

The new Census Bureau is running an article contest about why the eUS is a good fit for new citizens. Submit an article and win prizes. I'm happy to help with any editing or ideas.

Ideas:

- Interview someone. There are a lot of party leaders, cabinet officials, and military leaders out there that would be happy to sit down a moment and answer some questions.

-Presidential election. Currently ongoing despite lacking a field of candidates. Maybe write about the need for people wanting to run, interviewing the current president on his plans, or just writing about what you would like to see in the next term.

-Foreign affairs. Not usually a topic embraced by newer players, you could always reach out to Minister of Foreign Affairs in the USA or in other countries to see what is going on in the world and letting us know more. Europe is always changing and a good place to investigate.

This project originates from, and is sponsored and endorsed by the United States Workers Party. But that doesn't mean it has to end with us. I encourage anyone interested to get involved. I encourage all parties to join in or start up similar efforts.
