Be sure to vote in your Party's primary
As you know, we are participating in unity elections as explained in an earlier edition and explained again further below. I know what you think, that this process is flawed, that it will only result in more bad blood. That is not our intention, and we will make this process as democratic as possible. We will definitely be having a much more democratic process than AFA, which likes to unilaterally pick someone for you to vote for. Our process isn’t perfect, but it is certainly a step up from the alternative.
With this in mind, be absolutely sure to vote in your Party’s primaries. Some of these have already been concluded (AMP I know for sure), but others are still underway or yet to occur. If you are in a sixth party and want your voice to be heard, I suggest you participate in a Top 5 Party’s primary. I know this may leave a bad taste in your mouth and others are stubborn, but it is the best way for you to join the process and ensure you will be participating. The alternative, as one AFA member puts it, is certainly not appealing to me. Others with inflated egos would also like you to hate this process. In the future when other means are fully tested, we may switch the way these elections are done. One way is currently being tested and provides an example of how Americans are innovating the way we can accomplish this.
Times are hard, and we often have to make choices we don’t like to ensure things stay stable. Unity elections are a complex process and it is hard to satisfy every single opinion on this issue. While we would all like to have a competitive and engaging election on election day, the presence of different factors continues to make that a risky game to play. The most important goal is to ensure we have a legitimate administration that will continue funding and operating our various programs and military units. We need an administration that will continue working with foreign countries to maintain alliances that will defeat our consistent enemies.
Department Update: Department of the Interior

As Secretary of the Interior, Kodos and his dedicated staff are responsible for programs suchs as Meals on Wheels (MoW), Tank Up 2 Rank Up (TU2RU) and the meta game program (on the eUSA Forums) Bewbs 4 Newbs (B4N). All of these programs are designed to keep the newest eAmericans, those most in need of a helping hand, fed and equipped so that they can develop into contributing members of our community.
DoI is tirelessly working to optimize their interactions with the newest players of the game and make it easy for them to get involved and strengthen the community. The DoI is uniquely positioned to help in this regard since they are frequently the first point-of-contact with new users. They want to make the most of their interactions to help players as much as possible.
When asked about what it means to him to be Secretary of the Interior, Kodos' resounding response was, "My maxim is to service the eUS community above all else. To me, this means that the DoI needs to be functional regardless of the partisan bickering that sometimes gridlocks the government. Accordingly, I recuse myself from politics as much as possible and focus on making sure that we get the job done. We help our citizens no matter what!"

As mentioned before, we have fallen back.
Sure, we put out the occasionally shouts and orders stating to fight against FYROM and co, but none of it was organized. Hence, that is why we have lost our last European territory- Aosta Valley.
Moving onto more pressing matters, we are expecting an assault on the American homeland within the next few days. Now that FYROM is done kicking us out of Europe, the natural next step would be to NE France and bring war to our shores. Good news - Arm America will be open and we are currently doing the logistics for the FYROMian invasion. We will be prepared.
In other news, Serbia has started climbing through Italy. FYROM has apparently given up these territories to help Serbia get some bonuses. This means that we will eventually have the fight Serbia if we intend to take the war to FYROM this time. Serbia is one of Erep's top 3, and has firepower equal to our own. So we can expect interesting wars to come.
And finally, Croatia has NE'd Serbia since Serbia is busy attacking Italy.

Unity Elections
In the coming presidential election, the eUS will again be using a unity election system. Let me explain how this is going to work. Parties will conduct their primaries as usual. It is also recommended that candidates make their announcements before the 29th. We suggest that 6th parties make arrangements with a larger party of their choosing to participate in their primary in order to ensure that more voices are heard and that smaller parties are included in the process.
Following this, candidates will be on eNPR on Tuesday the 30th at 18:00 erep time. This will allow players to hear policy positions and views of each candidate in order to make a better choice. In the event of a tie, a run off primary will take place via the eUSA forums, in which case all citizens are encouraged to make accounts on eusaforums.com. The process of conducting unity elections is not perfect, but we believe this is the best system available to give as many citizens as possible a voice in the process and avoid as much fraud as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and all of your input this month to ensure the meta aspects of our elections are fair and democratic.
