Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Night One Part 2

Day 2,979, 19:36 Published in USA USA by RegisPhilbin

And the winner is...

FreemanJack! Come on down and get in the Hot Seat! You're about to play for 1 million mills!

Now things get interesting. I have created a graphical representation of what is going on in the game for you. There are five different types of slides you will see in this presentation.

1. The money tree slide. The contestant is playing for whatever value is above the value highlighted in green. Bolded values represent safe havens. The green value is what the player will get if he chooses to walk away. Lifelines are represented at top right. "Q" = Switch the Question; 50:50 is self-explanatory; AUDIENCE POLL = Ask the Audience, which, due to time constraints, FreemanJack decided not to use in its original form (he instead chose to have audience results be generated by the host, who knew the answer in the first place).
2. The question slide. Self-explanatory; this slide consists of the question with four possible answers.
3. The correct answer slide. This will highlight the correct answer (and the player's answer, in the unfortunate event the two are different).
4. The money won slide. This slide will show how much money the player just won.
5. Switch the Question slides. In these slides, the question is out of play. If the contestant ventured a guess postmortem, that guess (and the correct answer, if different) is/are highlighted. Everything else is turned black (to signal that the question is out of play).
