I agree Roman Empire It is a shame we can not defend both regions.
But hey despite the fact we are down to just 18 regions, the govenment still feels there are plenty of regions that are "unimportant" and are ok to lose.

change orders to protect Asturias! If it falls 80% of EDEN raw iron production goes down the drain! I know that you are sick of losing your regions, but frankly, Asturias is far more important then losing 2 regions in US. Not to mention how much your european allies helped you in this war, specially Spain.

We can't take orders from anybody that posts a reply here. Take your case to the DoD and let them issue the revised orders.
I don't disagree with what you are requesting but this is the wrong way to do it...

Why are we not protecting the high iron region of Asturias?
I think I am going to have to disobey orders today. Astuias is of far more tactical importance than either Illinois or Pennsylvania.
Personally I think the Spain thing is true, should make things interesting for a while.
Still, I think the DoD needs to clarify their position on Spain and if they do believe it I think they need to start telling us some part of the long term plan so we can start getting ready. It's really all part of keeping the people from getting worried.

Theyre ignoring the Asturias battle probably because everyone else is helping there and im sure combined they have enough tanks to keep it. Indonesia also used the vast majority of their fights earlier in the other attacks on our states which means they will only be able to do a fraction of their normal damage against Spain. But i dont really pay any attention to what happens so they could have other reasons.
by accident I mean that company was on sale when the money was transferd to it but no one from spanish government noticed that.
Ok people who are saying we should defend Asturias, the orders were updated AFTER the attack on Asturias so the administration is well aware of the fact that spain's high iron region is in jeopardy however they have made the decision to defend the American regions instead, while this may not seem like the best strategy we can't have some citizens fighting on one side and some on the other since it weakens our chances of winning, like the old Indian saying "If you chase two rabbits you will lose them both". I understand people thinking Asturias is a more important region as I do so myself, but its also important that we work as one and fight where the military and the administration feel is best not where we as individuals feel is best.
There is resistance war in Alabama, so if you can - go and fight!

I think it may be time to update this...
Iron > Oil...I'd rather fight my enemies with weapons as opposed to fighting them with a moving ticket. (I made this comment in another article as well.)

Why we ordered to ignore the battle in Asturias:
This decision was reached in consensus with our allies.
We knew Asturias was lost the moment France attacked it - keep in mind that PEACE got 16k gold for free the other day and was ready to pour it all into Asturias.
Actually from a practical point of view they've gained 32k gold, because Spain lost 16k.
Every point of damage we would have done in Asturias would have been wasted.
Still we had our Marines standing by the whole time to hit in Asturias if a victory would have come into reach.
We agreed with our allies that they would fight in Asturias, trying to keep PEACE's focus on it, and we would try to win at home in order to go on to the offensive.
