Hi all, dear eDutch citizens,
to prevent what happened last time that 2 MU's were fighting for the rewards the tournament gave us, I suppose we all vote the MU which should be the main MU for the coming challenge. After voting the winning MU would be the appointed MU to move to and some "sleeping members" could remain in the other MU's to prevent them to fade away. There are always people who cannot make, or who doesnot want to make those 250 kills in those three days.
I'd say, let the voting begin!

not that it matters DAF is the state MU. so it should and will always be the MU people need to move to.

I think pG should stay the top MU 🙂 most prizes won let's strengthen that record.
It's only a shame that a lot of the top damage players in that MU do damage for enemy countries 😉
Fair enough yet most players have been edutch citizens before, understand our position and indirectly contribute to our nation. Sometimes assisting in battle although they moved towards an enemy nation.
It is problematic, if you look for example at D4 of PG the top 3 fighters (so far) this week all fight on the opposite side then of eNL and they do 94,5% of the D4 damage in eNL's biggest MU. Fighting on opposite side isn't indirectly contributing to eNL, it only hurts us internationally if one of our biggest MU does most of their damage for our enemies.
Also I know that most people in PG are good people and people who fight for eNL. I am not attacking everybody in the MU. But the conflicting loyalty of some of the top fighters in the MU makes it hard for people to join that MU. I hope you understand why people are having a problem with joining PG. This is why DAF is a better, more neutral option
Valeyard, loyalty is not a commodity to be traded to suit the most profitable deal of the day. Loyalty is built on long lasting support and friendship. THAT is something those players do understand and you - as we all know too well given your actions in the past - don't. So do please stfu with your self-righteous sermons about something you don't understand.
I do understand it very well but what you do not understand is that in Erepublik there is no such thing (or at least it's very rare) for long lasting support and friendship between countries there are only people who stubbornly cling on to the past. In the years that Erepublik been around every countries have switches sides and had countries who were friendly in the past become enemy and vice versa. Friendship and loyalties just like alliances aren't something static they change and they evolve.
You comment about my actions (or better said what happened in your eyes) just confirms what I said that you and certain other people keep holding on to the past, hold on to what was and isn't anymore like friendships and keep insisting on holding on to old grudges instead of moving on.
Also saying that I need to stfu just because you disagree with me is just childish.

In my opinion this shouldnt even be a discussion. It's DAF ofcourse. pG could never be a state MU, at least not with the current commander still in place.

competition makes us weaker. if we can get all the active people into DAF. they get all the rewards. last time DAF won 3 of the 4 divisions.
MdR has invited you all time and time before, also when PG was still the biggest MU by far. Now all of a sudden you want all players in one MU? Now PG still does the most damage, so let's all join PG!
Last tournament DAF won D1, 2 and 4. If you want the bonusses, everyone is free to join.
Far as I can see what the rewards are, this whole thing couldn't make me care one bit, rewards are erep.

Indeed if someone doesn't feel to go for the prizes then stay. And competition is very good, unless all resources have to be used to make one win over the other.
PG obviously, why would we split the damage what we can do.

DAF. It has the most members and last time it managed to take 3 divisions. We would be so much more successful if people worked together but the stubborn ones don't seem to care about that.
DAF: Last tournament all divisions were won by DAF, except for one division which was won by PG by out of proportional hitting by Division 3 members (props to them, though).
On another note, it saddens me that it still seems to be such a sensitive topic while the preference for DAF in the Netherlands (population/Congress/Government) is clear, and so are the results of the previous tournament.
I don't see the problem is 2 mu's competing with eachother, a little competition iss way more fun than going to one mu and just grab the price and then return.
should it not be the most influential of the MU's that takes the helm?
That differs on activity of the members and rewards weekly, but what's your vote then?

Should be the state MU, althought it sux
Well if that is how you feel, maybe it is time for senior players such as yourself to help build the state MU? At the moment it is only Weekstrom that has taken up the responsibility.
times are changing. 4 months ago we had 1 D4 player, now theres 8.
There are more people working on improving DAF than Weekstrom. We are having great progress!
What should be improved in your eyes?
