I just want to say, that I hated putting out an important article on April fool's day, but it's what was required. THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE. This is for real.




Lots to talk about today, so let's just jump right in.

As most of you know, I've been a member of Easy Company for a long time now. I have been through the good and bad with EZC, and loved every minute of it. Ever since early 2012, I've loved this MU, and devoted my all to helping it. All of that being said, every once in a while there comes a time when a person must choose a new path, in order to realize something great. With that in mind, I have big news to break, and the times they are a-changin.

about a week ago, SHIELD CO, and POTUS hopeful Tyler Bubblar approached me about helping out in SHIELD. As he was going to be dedicating himself to the job of CP, he needed someone with experience to take over the Commander position in SHIELD. After consulting with a few of my most trusted friends, It became clear that this was going to be a mutually beneficial deal, and could be a lot of fun.

So, starting immediately, I will be taking over as CO of SHIELD, and a few things will be changing.



Below, you will find my current plans for SHIELD.
Read at your own risk.

1. SHIELD will soon start deploying for scheduled operations
These deployments will include fighting in important RW's overseas whenever, and wherever we are called. Moving fees will of course be payed, and there will be awards for those who strongly participate. Deployed mass attacks are a great way to make your damage count, and to join together with the rest of your MU. Be on the lookout for these deployment

2. SHIELD media will now be released on a weekly basis.
There will be updates on current wars, contests and activities, and any other relevant information for the week.

3. MEPS is back up and running
MEPS is an effective way of the MU contacting and connecting with new recruits. Talio Extremist will be running the program, and his experience and hard work will be exactly what it takes to make this a success. MEPS will also start giving extra incentives for new recruits who follow the steps to become a full member of SHIELD. There will also soon be incentives for those who complete courses in the SHIELD War College on the forum.

4. MU activity will be a main focus
A strong MU relies on activity and camaraderie. This is something that will be addressed immediately upon me becoming CO. While most details cannot be disclosed right now, be sure that SHIELD will become the new blueprint for active, effective MU's in the eUSA.

Along with these things I would like to say that I am very excited to start this journey, and us in SHIELD are going to have a blast. Also, my inbox is always open if you have questions, concerns, or suggestions about this change.
