The first stone

Day 2,244, 05:12 Published in India Croatia by Anubis.3

Greetings,

welcome to The Giza Gazette. I am Anubis, proprietor and head of the newspaper. It's good to have you here, at the occasion of our newspaper's launch.

Everything, big or small start out, built from one part - the great pyramids of Giza, for example started out as a single block of stone. We are doing pretty much the same thing, with each article that we publish being one stone, a small part of the whole. However, how far we go - depends on you readers, your appreciation, your comments, your criticism all matter in taking this enterprise forward.

Our objective: To publish news suited for a diverse audience and to promote innovation in news reporting.

Our Team:

Harsha Jayanthi - editor-in-chief

A writer of fantasy, science-fiction and horror, he also has worked in two other newspapers. Lack of experience is naturally a weakness. But, i trust that he will do his job as creative director and editor well.

Mauluna Azad - Politics and Education

India's beloved education minister, Abul Kalam Azad, better known by his pen name, Mauluna Azad is our writer of politics and related matters. It's also his intention to write about game topics of interest. My belief is that his enormous experience and wisdom will take this paper forward several paces

Admina Robinsion - Science and technology

Admina lives and works in the year 3000 BC. A self-confessed lover of science, she seeks to popularize the subject among the general population. Many papers cover topics like sports, art, mathematics...but, scant metion is amde to science. We seek to change all that and show the world that science is not just a subject of brains, but also of beauty and wonder

Ashok Desai - Finance

A no-nonsense economist who worked with the government, Desai is also a well-known economic journalist. It's his job to promote a better understanding of ingame economics. There is a need for better data collection and analysis on the country's economics - as he says, "half-knowledge in Finance is no better than no knowledge at all, if not worse"

Oscar Wilde - Comedy and everything else

Wilde is funny and popular - everything you'd want to see in a man. His plays were a sensation in the 1890s, and he was hailed as the "ultimate dandy". Unfortunately, he was forgotten after someone found out he was gay. For a century, he has gone into hiding, now, in these modern times, he's back.

Within time, as our team becomes more experienced in e-matters, we'll publish more articles in all the topics 🙂

I offer my gratitude to Parijat Roy and Aether01, for the loan that helped me get this paper started.
