If you've been reading the latest shouts by media authors, both big and small, you'll notice a large amount of folks complaining about losing a large number of subscriptions, personally I went from 129 to 91, and this is easily explained, with the help of our good friend Plato.
King Kong (Plato) has made quite a mess of the media in these last few months, and continues his rampage to this day!
Our good friend Plato has changed the way 'Dead' citizens are counted in subscription pots. Dead citizens as of today, cease to count as a subscriber to any newspapers, causing a great loss in any long term author's subscription count. I just heard that Glove lost over 2,000 subscriptions, and Ronald Reagan Reborn lost literally half his subscriptions. 😮
I assume that media mogul medals will be few in number for the next few months (years?), as people try to recuperate from their loses. Big writers with thousands of subs, and that lost thousands of subs, will not get any medals until they reach their previous count (Not confirmed, but we are talking about Plato, here!), and small writers like myself or Ronald Reagan Reborn, are set back quite a bit from reaching a media medal.

Not as bad as losing 2000 subs. At least I have my 2 medals...
I only lost 100 subs. I was happy to see this happen, as the new numbers are a better gauge of who is actice and not. I might feel differently if I had lost more, but I have not been publishing long enough to have many dead people subbed.
