Hello and welcome to The Cinema Contest. A while ago we had The Quote contest and received dozens of great quotes as entries from several players. Today’s contest is on the same lines, except, as the title suggests, this contest is all about movies, more specifically, dialogues. We all remember that one scene in a movie with an interaction between a group of characters that really stood out for it’s effect and message.

Movies have their place in every society and culture on earth. It’s always a transfixing experience to experience segments from other languages and dubbed into english as this introduces you to new aspects of society and ways of dealing with conflict. With that in mind, all readers are encouraged to share entries from their local filmmakers as well as from english movies. Just remember to provide an english translation/subbed version of the dialogue so that we can all understand it.

To participate, posting a youtube clip of the scene in question in the comments would be optimal. However, if it’s not easily available, feel free to post a textual version of the dialogue in the comments. Remember, it all has to be translated into English and only movies are applicable (no TV shows for now).
