TGN-Damage and Aims in Combat

Day 2,521, 06:38 Published in Japan Japan by Sinon

Hello everyone!

Today I figured I wanted to write about damage and aims in combat!

In the picture above I have used the information provided by the new battle page to analyze the current situation of eJapans military and this is what I have figured out:

Lets start with the first division. I feel it is bad enough that the BH is below 1 mill. My own standard rule from the time I was in D1 was that I would reach at least 1 mill when I aimed for the BH, regardless of my strength. If I didn't aim for it, I would at least get 25 kills or aim for 500K in the battle to give myself a purpose there. This is something everyone who venture onto the battlefield should aim for, not something like this:

As a soldier you have a duty to your country to aim for 51% on the battlefield (the percentage at the top of the battle page, both old and new)

Over to the second division, let me first tell you that 13,6 mill is not necessary. As a matter of fact this time it was serious overkill from my part (with 2 big bombs and 5 small bombs included).
When in second division, you should aim for 1 mill damage and/or 25-50 kills. In this case only two others in D2 have actually done this, which is actually quite shamefull.

Even in smaller countries they manage to keep their top 5 lists with 25+ kills most of the time. Whenever we have a RW or battle for eJapan I feel lucky if the list actually contains 5 people at all, or if any of them are citizens of eJapan. With more than 400 active citizens you would have thought this wouldn't be possible, so there are a lot of people that really should feel ashamed on this fact, regardless of division.

The third division have a good BH and good enough top 5 list. The damage could have been a bit better, but I believe they set a good example for both D1 and D2 in this battle.

In D3 you can see that only 1 citizen has less than 25 kills, as well as being below 1 mill damage. One more hit and the entire list would contain at least 1 mill from first to fifth place. Also here one should aim for 25-50 kills, though the damage should be between 1,5-2 mill at least.

Now, the fourth and final division which is the one most citizens don't want to end up in, but will eventually if the play long enough. The fourth division has a good BH, with 77 mill. This is, in fact, far from a overkill. In D4 a BH can quickly be above 100 mill, which makes your built up strength really important.
In this division, most people have no major problems with their economy and can afford to fight hard. Thus I would say 10 mill to be a good aim for D4-citizens. Though, also here does eJapan fail.

I am surprised and a bit disappointed from seeing this. From my experience I would have expected a list with the fifth place having at least 10 mill. This would probably also have improved our chances of victory in this division as well.

Now, this is my personal opinions and analysis. Much has been compared with my time as the MoD in eNorway around last winter/spring. I hope everyone can take a good look at this and tell yourself that you will do what you can to represent your country in the best way possible.

As a few hints for how to improve your own situation, please take a look at the following:

1. Find yourself a Military Unit that offers a daily distro of food and weapons. In eJapan I so far know of only one local MU with this offer, SSG, as well as a Portuguese MU with connections to eJapan through their 2nd commander, Kazuto.

2. Always try to ask your fellow comrades for supplies if you need some. eJapan has several "older" citizens with a good economy and food and weapons they can give away to "younger" players that have yet to develop a stable economy.

3. Show yourself to the public! Being active in publishing articles and/or writing in the commentary fields of other articles can have a positive effect on your situation. By showing interest towards others and show yourself as a good fighter and/or politician, you will get valuable contacts and friends that can help you with economy, supplies and knowledge. If you aim for the politics, they will be your most valuable asset, so don't take this lightly.

4. Contact your government! By having close ties to your current government, you can get benefits and information that can give you certain advantages as both a citizen and a soldier.

I hope this article proved useful to you all. Also, take note that the pictures presented above are already outdated and was taken more than halfway through battle 11. Thus the lists may have imroved, but these were an example to help you all get some goals and ideas to improve yourself.
