It is a Indian state located in the Himalayan mountains.The state is bordering Nepal,China(Tibet),and Bhutan.The state is the second smallest in India after Goa.Kangchenjunga is the second highest peak in India.

The was a referendum and in 1975 Sikkim became a part of India.China recognised Sikkim as part of india in 2003.

There capital is Gangtok.There are 4 provinces(North,South,East and West Sikkim).
Other cities are Geyzing,Mangan and Namchi.

With about 600.000 inhabitants Sikkim is the least populous state in India.
The main religion is Hinduism(about 60😵 and Buddhism.There are also Christians.
The official languages are Nepali and English.
