Revolutionary Red (Desu~) Idealism

~A Brief History~

Over a year ago, in the Far Eastern nation of Japan, an idealism based on leftist tendencies with a touch of fun (desu~) was born. It was created in the shape of the 'Desu Workers' Party'. A party which defied traditional politics in Japan, and shaped it's own destiny for the months that it lived. It was the only left-leaning party in the nation at the time, and as such, the members of the party tended to violently (through words) collide with opposing parties beyond the one or two parties it was able to become friendly with due to mutual hatred of a select group of people.

With this party, came an idealism that was a mixture of traditional left-leaning, mainly socialist, practices with a mixture of fun and enjoyment. The 'desu~' idealism is simple. Maintain a semi-equal, fun, and enjoyable community whilst sticking towards common leftist practices in economics, politics, and military aspects inside of a democratic system. By following the ideal in both the old party (DWP) and hopefully by carrying this into the new DERP (at least I hope the philosophy does), the ideal should be to continue the economic practices that have been kept in place in the country so-far, whilst using ideas within ourselves to make the community fun and energetic, rather than high-stress and 100% serious business.

Some common practices of parties utilizing the Desu~ idealism have been:

- Party-run companies in which the members of the party (by working for it) get a decent salary, although lesser than usual, due to the reception of goods created by the company as part of the paycheck

- A militia force used to train members of the party (especially the newer ones) in the military aspect of the game, and also serve to boost the power of older players through mock operations around the world. By doing this, and cooperating with the national military on all national operations, a strong force which can better serve the military was ensured.

- Events and organized ways of having fun!

By helping/assisting the Desu Egalitarian Revolutionary Party by being an active participant in it's internal politics, as well as (hopefully) bringing the idealism (with a positive mindset towards the country), into the eAustrian government, I look forward to ensuring that we continue the activity we currently witness, and (although a longshot) attempt to bring some new people into the wonderful nation that we maintain and live in.
