Thank you. Thanks to all who yesterday gave me their confidence by voting my candidacy. We will not fail this month. Also, I would want to congratulate all the people who had a name in the poll for their electoral run and I encourage them to continue with their job, because competence is what makes democracy good. From today we will start to work in the Hallamer Plan and we will apply it as much as we can.

I have to say that those who didn’t vote me will, of course, have the same treatment as the others; nobody will be discriminated this month. I understand they could be caught by other speeches or promises, but as I’ve been elected as the President I will treat all my citizens as the same.

So, since now, I want all my Government judged by their decisions, but not by prejudices. I invite any eEgyptian, any citizen, to evaluate my legislature as long as the first days pass; I want him to look if the promises become true, and if not, to find the reason, and to look if the respect for all the factions is the adequated you could expect from your Administration. That will put more pressure to my Ministers and to me, and will help us to do the things the better that we can.

We will forget for a month about Partidist aspects, because as I said and I will continue saying, we want a Government who treats all the population as the same, with respect, and that implies not to look for a Party, but for the country. Any disfunction would be extirpated fastly by a destitution.

I know this will be a good legislature; all will be fine, as it must be. With the help of our citizens, of all of us, we will make this country known as the jewel of the Nile.

Gràcies. Gràcies a tots aquells que just ahir van dipositar la seva confiança en un vot dirigit a la meva persona i a l'equip que això implica. No els fallarem. Alhora, felicito a tots els participants en les eleccions per la campanya electoral i els animo a seguir, ja que la competència, al cap i a la fi, ens fa ser millors. Ja avui començarem amb aquest projecte, el Pla Hallamer, i l'aplicarem tant com puguem sense descans.

Val a dir que la gent que no m'ha votat pot tenir la seguretat que no serà ni molt menys apartada o marginada. Comprenc que s'hagin vist atrets per altres discursos, però com he estat escollit President de tots els ciutadans els tractaré tots per igual.

A partir d'ara, doncs, que es jutji a cada integrant del Govern pels seus actes. Convido a qualsevol egipci, o qualsevol ciutadà en definitiva, a que evalui la legislatura un cop els dies hagin començat a passar; que miri si s'acompleixen les promeses, el perquè de la no aplicació d'algunes (en el cas de que això passi), i que observi si el respecte i l'atenció per a les faccions d'aquest país des del Govern és sempre la que s'ha dit que serà. Això implicarà una pressió afegida als Ministres i a mi per tal de fer les coses de la millor manera possible.

Tocarà oblidar aspectes partidistes, ja que com he dit i seguiré dient, volem un Govern que tracti a tothom per igual, i això fa que ningú en l'Administració hagi d'actuar en pro del seu partit, ans del seu país. Qualsevol disfunció podrà ser ràpidament extirpada a través de la destitució, si s'arriba a tal extrem.

Tinc la seguretat de que serà una bona legislatura; de que tot anirà rodat, tot anirà com ha d'anar. Amb l'ajuda de la ciutadania, de tots, farem que aquest país torni a ser conegut com la perla del Nil.
