William Ross lost the leadership election at the BDP, an event that has not happened before since the party started to rise, as United Sovereign, back at the end of 2014. The most immediate result of the change of leadership is that the party has become the British Patriots. The party certainly has the dubious honour of being the major party that most often materially changes it's name. Beyond the name change, it's probably business as usual, if the past is anything to go by.

The County President, Rathena Gelc, has been running a consultation on a proposed deal with France. If accepted, the deal will see the UK receive all it's taxes, and receive a 45000cc 'rent' from the French for six UK regions. In return the UK will agree not to support, and indeed to actively fight against, any attempt to start a resistance war in the 'rented' regions. For more information see this article, published by 10 Downing Street, containing details and debate. It would appear from the debate that the majority of the public reject the agreement.

God save King Woldy!
