Welcome to the eighth edition of Political Hotspot. Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances, I was unable to access my desktop yesterday afternoon, so this article is a day late.

Adastros has clearly won the presidential election, however two candidates were removed from the race, BaronChris and Aleksander V. Popovik. BaronChris has gone to the United States, and Aleksander V. Popovik has admitted to being Wayne Kerr (see comments on his newspaper).

Wayne Kerr has admitted to being a serial multi-account holder. It is likely that many of the presidential candidates now and in the past, and large parts of congress are him. All players of this game have been taken in by his actions, myself included. Having multiple accounts is a breach of the strictest rule of almost all MMOGs, and for good reason. It breaks communities, and it breaks games.

eRepublik is too great to be destroyed, but it is in grave danger (at least in eUK, or has WK gone beyond the borders of eUK?).

The next edition of Political Hotspot will be published on Monday 16th February (hopefully!).
