Patriotism and Praise

Day 925, 13:21 Published in Japan Japan by Amamiya Haruhi

There are times in the past and the present when I've been wrong, even leveling down to who I support as president of our beloved country. After reading the lengthy assessment done by Nowe, I began to have suspicions about the person I initially supported for president in this election: Shimiken. It's also been made clear in the past few days that the party support votes were rather heavily in his favor. I now wish to step forward and state the following: I was wrong in my support. At the current moment, our nation needs direction and it needs experience. We also need to have new individuals trained for respective positions and let the older individuals step out of the spotlight (which Nowe proposed, and I agree with completely.) I've currently lost faith in even the current administration because of the rather iconic failure of a war that was waged with South Korea. This is not to say that I didn't initially support the war, as I voted in favor of the initial reasons given: that it would allow us to test our military, and would function as a training war of sorts. However, the aftermath and results (especially when Russia joined in) have changed my viewpoint on the war entirely, as we have now lost one of our provinces (Jeju), have had inflation worsen ever so slightly, and have left South Korea as a new Russian plaything. In short, the aftermath is nothing short of negative from when we initially entered. But enough about the war, let us further move on to my support in this month's presidential race and exactly why I'm writing this article:

My perspectives have changed, and I hereby make it clear that I openly support Dokomo and Nowe as the next President and Vice-President of eJapan. Their policies ring true to my ears, and I heartily agree with many of the proposals brought forth by both of them (Nowe in particular in the same article in which he declared candidacy), and, seeing absolutely no material behind Shimiken except his initial article, with the rising controversy now unveiled to my eyes, and with no valid points within even the initial article that I can say I firmly stand behind, I support Dokomo and Nowe this month.

Nowe happens to also be a good friend of mine, and Dokomo has been one of the more sensible individuals from the 'Fridges of Hell' that I've enjoyed speaking to countless times, and also happen to look up to because of his contributions in the past.

On a sidenote, Goku Jones, why can't we be friends?

tl;dr: Dokomo isn't my favorite in all of Underland, but the other tea party attendees are quite terrible in comparison.
