This past month has been one of reflection and evualation for me personally.. watching everything we worked five months for disappear in five days wasn't easy.
Nothing we could have done would have changed the beating we took, but that doesn't change the months of disfunction and selfishness leading up to it.. nor how I feel about it. While there were ocassional glimers of hope, more times than not.. it was.. me, me, me. Once people were freed it was immediately.. my tw, my bonuses, my country, my business. In some cases people were trying to set up tw's and bitching about bonuses before we even finished freeing everyone. If I played the game the way most of you do, you'd all be permawiped.
When I came back this time I was careful not to make the mistakes I've made and seen made in the past. I looked at the way Asteria plays the game and took the parts that I thought most effective. This past month I have looked at the misakes I did make.. what we did right, what we did wrong. The biggest mistake being that it was almsot always me.. lots of old "important" people had opinions on everything, but nobody could ever seem to find any time to actually do anything more than talk. If you think you can play and win here without making an effort and sacraficing your time, you're mistaken.
You've seen shades of my new approach recently.. it boils down to you creating opportuntiy to win and my helping once you do. I'm not doing it all for you anymore.. you are for the most part a bunch of disorganized basket cases. If you want help, you will need to pull your heads from your asses and get organized around a larger plan. None of you can win alone and all of you can't be free with full bonuses tomorrow. Wrap your head around it and accept it.
The battle at hand is Argentia v Mkd. It's a critical battle that has implications for all of South America.. and over the next month or so.. for all of you. Arg needs money, Arg needs fighters.. and I'm not doing it alone. There is an RW right now https://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield/115280 and if that fails, they'll have another attempt at an NE attack afterwards.
From a shout earlier I raised 628k cc, that I have since sent on to Argentina, they need millions more. If you want to remain Asterian colonies and slaves.. go enjoy your day, hoard all that cc for yourself. If you want to be free.. you need to do your part. We need your cc and we need your attention, all day. Watch the walls, shout, watch shouts, forget about tp and tw for a day.

*Update.. this battle went easy and Mkd is out of SA, but rumor is some Asterian lapdog will try to replace.
