Missions, People, And My Take On It All

Day 1,372, 08:35 Published in USA Switzerland by Kishvier

So we've seen some new missions today, the "Offense is the Best Defense" mission, which looks like just another gold sink to me, all you get for it is a few free weapons and a few strength, for spending a solid amount of money on a Q1 weapons company, and an iron mine. Honestly, I think it is directed at newer players, trying to make them more self sufficient (Not to mention, buy more gold!).

Next off you have the other two missions, "Food Stocks" and "Weapon Stocks", which are more or less the same, only difference being one concentrates on food, and the other weapons (GASP!). These two seem to be the busy missions, trying to keep us playing through all the crap that occurs here on eRep.

Now off to the part where we look at the players. People are doing what always happens with an update, or when missions are added. They flip out of control, chain shouts with serious grammatical errors go flying, hundreds of articles are published putting the update down (If we still have that many newspapers still working), a dozen well known players quit, half will rage quit, the others will just disappear, and to sum things up, bad stuff happens for really no reason.

I mean honestly, you don't have to do the missions. They are optional. So what if they are gold sinks, or that the prizes aren't good? They're better than nothing. They give you a goal for your fake internet game money. They give you something to do when you get really bored. They help the noobs build themselves up faster. Honestly, I see no real problem with them. They're just there to have another thing to do, why complain?

So that's my take on this all. Chill out people, sh*t happens, and this isn't even that bad (It actually isn't bad at all). Chill out, write yourselves a proper chain shout, and move on. If you haven't quit already, I'm not sure what you are waiting for, if you want to rage quit, you should've done it a long time ago.

I don't even know,

PS. Nominations for Congress. I don't usually nominate people for congress, but my good friend and fellow politician from the Feds, Gnilraps, is running for congress this month, and I personally endorse him for this election. He has shown dedication to the party, as well as America, for as long as I've been in the eUS, and he is the sort of person we need to help America in the months to come.
