Join the new world

Today is the day, my minionsfriends! I would like to announce that I have chosen this month to continue harvesting power via taking over congress [and 5 gold].


I was waiting for the right time, being a relatively new player without all the wonderful government experience of many. Then the work tax hit, and it seems this stirred me from my slumber. To be fair, I probably would have skipped this congress as well, but our PP, WildOwl, [flattery]who we all so dearly love[/flattery], came to me asking if I'd considered running for congress. Apparently my opinion on the new taxes caught the attention of some and people find it agreeable, so what the hell, I'm game.

Let us continue now to the real point of all this fluffy crap~



This pumpkin is running for congress under the USWP banner, because USWP is the best party for getting things done. Why should you all want me in a fancy seat with the ability to say yes or no on whatever I like? Because everyone loves and agrees with me, right? No. You want me there because you want your eLife to improve, and I love to discuss and decide things for everyone else.

Before I go on, I have to be honest with you--I put EZC before anything, being my beloved MU to which I've been loyal and proud of since I started. I'm currently the captain of the 7th Regiment in EZC, now in my third month with this position. If this is a problem for anyone, feel free to state such, but this won't change.

Now for the rest. I've done my part fighting off the PTO, I've written propaganda, I'm a WHPR writer, I've taken a look at alliances and taxes and all that other exciting stuff, but you know what I've yet to do? I've yet to climb on into a seat from which I can actually do anything for us all. I want to see how things work behind the scenes, and what it takes to get things done.

I regularly check and post on the forums, I idle on IRC in various channels, I log into eRep many times each day, what more could you want than a politician taking every possible chance to be accessible and in your face? ... Oh wait.

Thank you for reading this mess, I apologize for not writing it with a pleasurable reading experience in mind. It is my hope that you decide to put me to work this coming month, as I'd love to try my hand at fixing things with your consent.



If you lot see fit to put me in congress, expect me to push for a tax rate just over 10%. Expect me to obsess over our military successes and failures, where our money goes, and don't expect a pet of a congressthing. This pumpkin is owned by none, and despises things that are broken, so expect me to want to fix things.

That said, I go by the same name on everything eRep related, so don't be shy.
