The presidential election is near so soon we will have an exclusive Interview with eUSA president, but for this issue I had a quite interesting interview with WookyJack , Federalist Infected Party President.




Hello WookyJack, tell about yourself?

I used to play in 2009/2010, was USWP and in the eUS Mililtary. I was dishonorably discharged for medal hunting and not following orders lol. Later I joined SEES and had fun trolling around and then left shortly after v2 of erepublik was released. I could not stand those tiles that we had to fight on.
Recently, I have returned in February this year and joined the Federalist Party. I did a lot of media writing and then eventually worked my way up to Commander of SHIELD Military Unit. I led Joint Strike missions for fun and to get activity going in the MU. I wrote a few articles about those joint strikes too, they are in my newspaper. Lots of fun working with other MUs and meeting new people.Currently, I am the Federalist Party President and recently it has become infected with a virus that I will need everyone’s help in trying to get rid of it! I have created a game which I will release soon. The prizes? War stashes for the top 3 winners!


What led up to becoming the party president?

Honestly, I was interested in being Party President at a later time, but the Federalists needed someone to step up during a difficult time. I was sought out by many of the party leadership and asked to lead the party as I had done successfully with SHIELD. I am very proud where SHIELD has come in the last half year and I wanted to do my part and serve the party that has taken such care and trust in me.


Please tell me about your past experience.

I was Deputy Press Secretary under Molly Emma’s administration. Basically, I helped publish White House Press release articles. Currently, I am serving as Deputy of the State Department under Wild Owl and I am the press secretary for the Pacifica Alliance.


If you hadn't become a party president, what might you have done?

I would still be Commander of SHIELD and running Joint Strikes against our enemies. Basically, I would be trying to build up the community and bring in as many new quality members to the MU as I was previously. I would also be trying to get more higher Division players.


Talk about your cabinet.

Last month was great! We increased the party membership, SHIELD membership gained 15 players, we got the most congress candidates in these past few months and we elected Tyler Bubblar as our Country President. This September we gained 21 congress seats. That is the 2nd most we have obtained all year! I would not have accomplished all of this if it weren’t for my phenomenal team that I had there with me every step of the way.


As the party president what are your goals? And what do you hope to achieve in Congress under the banner of Federalist Infected Party?

Well, to be honest, you caught me a bit earlier with this. I have game plan for The Federalist Infected Party, but its not congressional related. That will be for whoever is elected PP to replace me on the 15th. I changed ‘zombie’ to ‘infected’ because apparently that is still a USWP thing. But this will not deter my game I plan on hosting with prizes of war stashes for the winners.


If you don’t mind talk about your RL a little.

I live in California USA. I am 29 years old. I married my high school sweetheart and we live in a modest house out in the wine country of Central California. I have a dog who is basically my son; I love him very much. And I have two cats that are lazy and never get a job. I work for a website that serves IT professionals world wide and someday hope to move up in the company.


Where did you first learn of erepublik?

I played a lot of Total War: Rome. I found a forum where those types of players congregated. One guy named Ephestion told me about this game and I joined him in eGreece. After a few weeks I realized I am not going to get anywhere in the game because I don’t speak Greek. Later I was approved citizenship in eUSA.


How did you come up with your nickname? What’s that mean?

I was initially GreekHoplite, like the Greek Hoplites in Total War: Rome...and because I ‘borned’ into eGreece. When I rebooted the character earlier this year I found I could change my name. I chose WookyJack after my favorite beer.
