Game Change: Resource Shuffle

Day 2,621, 16:34 Published in Czech Republic Czech Republic by milestailsprower

To the Czech people:

We are facing a very important change to the strategic interest of our country. Long story short, in case you have not read the eRepublik update, is that in a few days, nations can fight for the right to have a new resource in a region. All we have to do is win a campaign that isn't a defensive RW. The historical capitals will have fish for sure, for all nations. There are only a set number of places that can have a certain type of resource, so the faster a campaign is won, the more choice we have. The president (me!) is in charge of ranking which resources we should get, and ranking which regions should be assigned a resource first. If we win a campaign and win a "resource token" it will automatically look at what our top priority region is, and what top resource for that region we want, given what is available. We are allowed to give excess resource tokens away, since we only need two to guarantee our resources. (If that somehow doesn't happen, there is some bidding nonsense after the battling period I won't explain here.)

There are a lot of different approaches to take with this. We can get multiples of the same resource, to discourage invasion (yuck), we can specialize in trying to get food resources, we can try to diversify our resources (food, weapons, housing), etc. If you have particularly urgent or critical comments for how we should approach this issue, you are free to contact me or my cabinet. I will give more details as they come. Be prepared to get into some fights...

Warm regards,
