Failure of the Greek-Argentinian-Croatian master plan

This is mostly my personal account about my diplomatic activity of the last two weeks, since Hungary joined the Pacifica alliance

At the time of our entry, the members of the alliance were the USA, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Columbia, and - joined a few days prior to us - Greece. We entered simultaneously with Poland, thus the alliance had ten member states.

After a couple of days, the Greek MoFA mailed me that I'm about to be invited to a circular. At that time, he also asked, if something sounds wrong to me, first tell it to him and I shall be very diplomatic. I was really quite surprised to see among the recipents (besides myself and the Greek MoFA) some Greek 'terrorists', Prophet009 (MoFA of Poland), Zdlemmy from Croatia, the American Wild Owl (also the SG of Pacifica), two Turks and Vyc ARG from Argentina. And they talked matter of factly (OK, not all, just the Greeks, the Turcs, Zdlemmy and Vyc) about
(1) how to make cooperation between the Pacifica and the Adriatica, and
(2) how to get Turkey into the Pacifica together with Argentina and Brazil (these latter two were 'obvious', it was widely discussed they are about to join).
Before progressing in the story, let's see, who was NOT invite😛 the Presidents of Poland, the USA, Greece, nobody from the other Pacifica members, nobody from Brazil.

I shall be 'very diplomatic', OK, so I call aside the Greek MoFA and later also Wild Own, telling it does not work for us. I especially asked my Greek friend to forward this info to his fellow Greeks. I agreed Prophet009 quickly (say a few lines in chat 🙂 ) that this course cannot be followed. No effect, the daydreaming was still on. So, I started to PM the 'Gama Greeks' there. Their answers were fully friendly, correct and honest: they were supposing we are aready to fight against Romania and Serbia. But maybe we can be convinced, if 'they' (oh, who are 'they'? I know only one society I'm owe loyalty to: the Pacifica members) give some time? Meanwhile the talk was already going about who to MPP Croatia and Turkey with. And anybody who does not agree this, tell it openly, 'we are among friends'.

Mail again to Greeks. Who are our friends? Croatia, Turkey, indeed? Not to me of course. Meanwhile Wild Owl proposed the entry of Argentina and Brazil to the alliance - without their MPP to Hungary, which was my obvious condition. We make this quickly with Brazil. Argentina rather vote about an MPP with Romania (while their actual one was only 5 days old). The Brazil entry is voted unanimously. Hungary and Russia voted no to Argentia while the Polish leader slept over the end of the voting (it was in the middle of the night, no importance, the outcome would have been positive even it he voted by no).

Then the sh*t hits the fan in Pacifica. The Polish president had a long talk to Wild Owl who resigned and proposed the Polish MoFA Prophet009 as alliance leader. I talked with our Russian friends, agreeing on everything. There was quite an upset in the alliance circular. Prophet009 wrote, after his election he is about to follow a rule he shall propose any new number ingame if only ALL members expressed their approval beforehand. All members agreed but Greece: they asked about Turkey. Quite a surprise for many members.

So I was waiting the end of the SG voting. Diplomatic or not, this situation cannot be lost so far, I told on the circular to Croatia, Turkey and the others: this thing does not working for us, and if these pieces of info were not passed to them: now I'm saying NO.

(Here I shall tell that I must highly respect the 'Gama Greeks' in that channel. Even the master plan failed, they were saying thanks for the talks, expressing they had no bad feeling as it is a game and a good one. Awesome players, and it worth to participate in that talks because of knowing them. Alas, another advice to anyone: thou shalt never underestimate the diplomatic skills of the Greeks. They are simply the best. I enjoyed every moment of the debate.)

More or less this is the situation in system level Thursday afternoon European time. Argentina has voted their leave from Pacifica, Greece and Brazil are stayed. Greece urged MPP with Russia, however the Russian MPP proposal seems to be partly opposed in Greece.


And what would be the story, if...? - A question not favoured by the historians of course. However now, we can make a guess. Without the entry of Poland and Hungary to Pacifica two weeks ago, the alliance could have became so far a Greek-Argentinian-Turk one, cooperating with Croatia, still containing some old members who could live with this. What did really happen, is much more better for Hungary, at least in my view.
