Endorkment Extremis; or Why I Like Paul

Day 2,018, 20:07 Published in USA USA by Aeriadne

Quick bits:
~The tallies are in and "Emerick's Butt" won, but I'm not going to use that as the paper name because "Hooker Kisses Delight" just appeals to me way too much. Don't worry, Em. There's a quiet corner for your ass to be properly appreciated. Wait til Saturday.
~Speaking of, Congress has been pretty cool, but due to computer issues I haven't been online. Thus, Saturday will begin that groove.
~Clint Carmel's totally not that bad of a newb.

Now, without further ado, an endorsement.

Music please.

If you don't know Paul Proteus, you haven't been paying attention.

Here's a quick list of his achievements:
~2 term Swiss President, generally being a bamfy minister of pretty much everything and self-proclaimed Renouilleist
~"God King of Fun" and head of the eUS Department of Fun's attempts to reinvigorate the nation's ennui (spoiler: he rocked)
~Libertarian Party President, chilling with the likes of CRoy, Claire Littleton, and Iasov whilst that party was still the nation's #1 party
~Federalist Party President, chilling with... well, you know
~Secretary of State
~Secretary of Media
~Secretary of Stealing Your Heart

With good cause.

That last one may be made up (for now), but with the seductive powers of his +42 Voice of Low Sultriness, it's hard to not be physically, metaphorically, and metaphysically attracted to Paul Proteus.

Ignoring my own personal unrequited love story here, that simple list is merely the most notable things which Paul has accomplished in the last year alone. He took an ancient, sacred department and gave it his all. In a time when this game has been month after month of UNITY presidents being reelected and our morale and player retention at a grave low, we need fun.

We need someone who has not just a degree in it, but prior government experience in ingraining the nation with it.

And he's got friends. With our presence in CoT still developing significantly, we need someone who is not just about American politics. Paul Proteus is embroiled with them. Globetrotting form the Philippines to Alps, Paul has connections.

And we need that.

We need friends, both at home and abroad. In Paul, there is both.

And all of these things are great, and all of these things can be listed chronologically, alphabetically, or whatever way you wish, but at the end of the day Paul has a quality we often forget in the political realm: friendliness.

In all of my interactions with him, he has been nothing but sincere and kind. He contains that rare balance of cool cohesion of heart and mind which allows one to go for their goals without making others feel like they've been used.

Friendly.

Fun.

Experienced.

And adorable as shit.

We are a nation on the brink of great things. We have great potential. And as someone who has had the pleasure of watching Paul at work and at his finest almost all my e-life, I am humbled to present my endorsement for him.

Until next time, dothras chek.
