Cartography 101 or the first penstroke
Hello and welcome,
It's George here with another edition of Cartography 101 I will give a summary of all the recent changes in the world since yesterday.
Here's what's happene
The UK-Belgium Training war ended yesterday with the last UK occupied territory, Wallonia falling to the Belgian liberation Force.
Albania liberated their original capital, Tirana, from the Serbs. Note that their capital is still in UAE, though.
Greece retook Western Macedonia.
Bulgaria liberated Ruse and Burgas from Serbia and takes the offensive today in attacking Greek Western Thrace.
Romania conquered Latvia's last territory, Vidzeme, completing a few day long conquest of the entire country.
Spain liberateed, Aragon, Andalusia, and the Canaries from Spain and it is continuing its offensive into Castilla La Mancha today.
Israel liberated Beersheba from Cyprus, but Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, the Nations 2 largest cities remain under Cyprosian rule.
India continues to re-surge, taking Tamil Nadu from Croatia and West Bengal from Chile.
Turkey recaptured Jilin from China who had liberated it a few days ago.
China, however, expanded its control in Korea by capturing Pyongyang from Paraguay, ending their presence on the Korean Peninsula.
Taiwan squashes the Japanese at Kyushu and Kanto leave the Japanese, once again, only holding Shikoku.
Argentina defeated the Indonesians in Sulawesi, conquering the region and leaving Indonesia with only the Maluku Islands. (Fun Fact: in 2011 researchers found evidence in the Maluku Islands that early Homo Sapiens and Homo Floriensis intermarried, one of the first definitive examples of Hominid intermarriage...).
Georgia captured the Kiwi capital of Auckland, but New Zealand managed to take Otago.
Hungary captured Hrodzienskaya from Lithuania, and today launches it invasion of the Home territories.
Colombia, with Chile's attention focused on Serbia, managed to kick the Chileans out of Cundiboyacense and Orinoquia.
Chile did defeat Serbia and conquered Guyana. In an Epic Battle, which probably got me half my PPs this week, if I might add.
Venezuela rebuilds it country by liberating Llanos from Peru.
Peru liberates Mid Andes.
Continuing my report on Congress, here's the update. Impeachment of Huey George did not pass (thank God). A peace treaty has been proposed with Canada which will allow us to take back our territories. I voted in favor and I'll update you on the result tomorrow. Finally, our MPP with USA is up for renewal. I am almost certain that it will pass, because we got tons of support from them during the war. In fact, I'm pretty sure they were the only ally to help us... Besides I kind of have to act selfishly (sorry) on this one. I am now a member of a US Military Unit and it would suck if the MPP didn't pass.
Now bear with me I'm about to rant... Epic warfare was bullshit! The whole idea of countries being ranked by average Prestige Points is really dumb. I'm a moderately experienced player and I still scored under the UK average for PPs, which means despite the fact that I was putting up Millions of damage a day, I was actually hurting the UK's overall standing. What does that do? Instead of encouraging new, or even kind of old (like me) players from becoming more active, it (theoretically) convinced us to not participate at all. Basically if you aren't a GOW or higher, you are hurting rather than helping! That's BULL. Its the reason why countries like Thailand and South Africa won this thing. They don't have hardly any new or inexperienced players. All they have are High Rollers who moved there later... I still don't get how the UK which is consistently in the top third for power, damage and OD, can rank in the bottom third of this tournament. This was a truly poorly conceived tournament, and that's not even mentioning all the server crashes ALL week...
Ok, hwoooo hwoooo, calm down, rant over.
So what's up with this whole Halloween thing? What's a cursed Trigger Kit?
