What a week!
A lot happened and there are still high discussions about it so read this article and know what is going on
NLSP: A new and active Congress Member
A small miracle has happened, the first proposal of a totally new congress member has been passed!
While most new congress members just post a proposal and don't care about the existing traditions and regulations, NLSP has properly read the instructions of his beloved partymembers and partypresident.
While the importance of his proposal is rather small, it shows that he took the time to look for the 'how and why' of making proposals.
In this week a lot of protest came for this rules, implying that congress would vote against everything that doesn't follow it's system even if that is against the better good of this eNation.
That is actually both true and false, yes the congress vote normally against a proposal that hasn't a discussion area, but that they do in the interest of eBelgium. With this discussion, one can explain why the proposal is important, why it has positive effects and men can if necessary alter slightly the proposal to gain a majority.
While there are a few congress members against such a procedure, they where this week extremely silent on one specific discussion on the forum, where we have working to update the constitution.
While NLSP did a great and huge work in this case, none of the congress member who are against this procedure made one suggestion. They have there chance to see it changed, but they are still silent.
He also tried to analyse the current food/grain situation and was looking to change the taxes so eBelgium's citizens could have a better food price, but the changing of the 'high regions' made a few differences, so that will need a little bit more time
After one week NLSP already did things that help us the have a better eBelgium for every of it's citizens, just like the BCP promised!
The Weekly Prophet hopes that he can continue to work as he do now!
The week of the resigning congress members
This week 3 Congress Members have resigned!
What does that mean? The persons who are elected by you, they don't care al for eBelgium
"Watrogasac Nesa", Draganw" and "Gurafity" are the ones that likes the votes, but doesn't likes the work of being a Congress Member.
The Weekly Prophet has asked them why and get among others these words back:
"So yes, I left Belgium because the country is in fact dead and I was bored very strong"
"In Congress I went to get a medal"
"And then I do I what I want"
"I only had 4 votes, counting mine"
So readers, apparently you are dead
🙂, while you are represented by some medal whores, who feel no responsibility and doesn't think that your vote makes a difference.
That is a WRONG attitude
The Weekly Prophet expects at least some sense of duty in the congress members, and so do you!
We advise you to be a little bit cautious in the elections and don't just vote on anyone. Vote on candidates who deserve it!
Country President elections
Soon are you all allowed to give your vote for our next CP and a few strange things has happened ...
After serious consideration and discussion, the BCP has taken a bold step and supported ThomasRed. Like in every normal party, not everyone agreed on that, which led to A Vegan stepping out the party, a move we all regret. Al the BCP-members that has spoken to The Weekly Prophet We remember A Vegan as a loyal, hard working partymember that did he's job for helping the eBelgium citizens
While A Vegan was running for President with the support of a other party, the BCP, who is a party that keeps it word, was still standing behind its word and didn't withdraw its support.
But now has ThomasRed in an unfair way, just before the President elections, his opponent and the former BCP-member A Vegan accused of theft.
A theft that was discovered by... A Vegan
So gold that was missing by a state-organisation, were only because of A Vegan the citizens of eBelgium know about, would be stolen by A Vegan, and the results of that research is broken just before the elections?
There is no proof of that published by ThomasRed, there is only his word (which he has published)
That raise questions to The Weekly Prophet, especially when he stated before that he would handle the matter with discretion and that if the money was returned (what happens), he will not publish anything.
The Weekly Prophet believes that there is no reason to communicate the way he did and is afraid that ThomasRed is keeping some information for himself or in the worst case, just did it as a way to secure his position as CP.
This kind of behaviour is despised by a lot of eBelgium citizens, and rumours are that a great majority of the BCP-members, don't want to support such kind of a CP and wants a full endorsement by the BCP for A Vegan.
Also The Weekly Prophet support his readers to place your vote for A Vegan!
A man that doesn't break his word, a man that wants to do something for you, the ordinary eBelgium citizen

there are some things rather fishy in vegan's defence too, mate. For instance, vegan shows he knows the identity of the true thief, but refuses to bring forth the evidence, aka he is atm deliberately hiding the ID of a thief of belgium. That makes no sense either.
I liked the first part, but why are you talking about yourself in third person 😃
aVegan said i had access to eBe Raw, it have been proven that i didnt get any access in October (i wasn't part of the government).
Moreover, he said that i had it because i told him during our irc meeting that the person who made the transfer got the pass through me. People who read our conversation saw it is a lie.
He said he know who did it, that there is a 3th person... Well, give us the name ! Only these people can be guilty, because they had access to set up the offer : Boklevski, Theneka, MaryamQ, Velitia, aVegan.
Admins said that the offer was bought by "Certified Vegan Food". aVegan said it was true, but that he bought the company one month ago or so. So the previous owner had to get access to eBe raw, according his story (to be able to set up the offers, because it was a legal transaction, not a hack).
MaryamQ, Velitia, and Boklevski have bring some charges against aVegan. Why does he would protect them ? And theneka said he never had a food company that he sold to aVegan.
Facts are facts, unfortunately...
thomasred's story look's quiet solid but to be honest in this case i don't trust none of you guys :/
What does you can't trust ?
That the offer was bought by Certified Vegan Food ?
That the stealer had to get access to eBe Raw and that only Theneka,MaryamQ,Boklevski,Velitia, and aVegan had access ?
aVegan said he say that he know who did it but he can't tell it ?
While it have to be one of the 5 people...

I am glad that a few people read this newspaper, it says not always things that you like, but that is not the reason it is written.
It is always written to try to have some debate, with the facts that the writer knows on the time of the published article.
Further, to try to make it look like a "Newspaper" it writes, even about its owner, editor and only writer, the despised/honourable (chose whatever fits your) congress member NLSP in the third persons, except for editorials
Good work, NLSP! I respect your efforts to be active, to follow procedures (and to explain why), and to communicate with our citizens about the things that have happened. I happen to disagree with you about the eBe Raw/CP issues, but I can see that you attempted to present them objectively.
I very much agree with you, on the other hand, about the members leaving Congress and why people should be careful with their votes. I also want to note that these people have left us with 3 empty seats in Congress which would have been filled by tiltas, Jorne Reynders, and Pieter De Conick if they had not been taken by these disloyal Congress members. tiltas had already proven in the previous term that he was active and interested. Jorne Reynders has been active on our forum since he started in eRepublik, and I am sure he would have done his job well, also. I do not know Pieter De Conick, but he could not possibly do worse for eBelgium than these 3 have done in this term.
I forgot to mention that NLSP should be commended for his interest in the revision of our constitution and his active attempts to make it better. His is an example I hope many others will follow.
